Magic Who's Way? Dining...
Um...whats up with the EXTREMELY limited supply of choices in EPCOT?
I really was looking forward to a lunch at San Angel...and dinner at the um...Marrakesh. My choices are so narrow, now. Nothing really sounds good to me or hubby. I think we'll do a Counter Service wherever, and just enjoy small snacks from each land, and then do a late dinner at Everything Pop! It's sort of a bummer, because I wanted the dining option to cover ALL the dinners and lunches, and now, of course, this is more 'out of pocket' when I get there. It's inconvenient, don't you agree?

Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...
Yes, I noticed they are considering many of those restaurants to be "fine dining" options. You can still eat there, but it will cost you two of your options if I have this correct. Something you can do on your Epcot day is go to one of the surrounding resorts and have dinner there. It can be a nice break from the parks and a great meal. There are a few within walking distance. I know it seems unfair, but the $35 a person is a steal, so I guess we should have expected some limitations on the Epcot more expensice meals.

They only have 2 choices for the 'fine dining' - Le Cellier and one other one...
The bummer is, I don't want EITHER one! Do you have a surrounding area suggestion?

Now it's not because I'm from CANADA - because we also have some terrible restaurants in CANADA - but you really should consider LeCellier. It is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at, in CANADA and out. The pretzel bread is so yummy! My husband still talks about the filet mignon with mushroom risotto and the creme brulee with maple crust is SO good. I also love the atmosphere. It's cosy on a cool night and cool on a hot one.

Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...
I just looked at the list of restaurants that are available, and I know I could eat at the one table service meal you get a day the value of the package for the entire day,so I wish that I could book a dining package with an AP or Fla resident rate!!!

Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...
Unfortunately you are right. I was told that if you have a discount on your room, then you can't add the dining plan. The only way to get it is if you buy the MYW package and add the dining and these packages are not discounting the room. It looks like the only way it is a good idea is if you were going to pay full price for your room anyway and you have to buy tickets. As a side note about Beaches and Cream. That is one of our favorite places to eat when we go to Disney and it is considered casual, so if you eat there you would use your Q&C or counter service vouchers. Hope this helps.
