Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
We actually thought it was just okay. The activities were great but we just weren't that impressed with the food. It was good, but I think we would have liked it MUCH BETTER if we would have gotten the skillet.

12 reviews in Disney Rate and Review ...
Besides my review in there, we also ate breakfast and dinner at Whispering Canyon in 2004. Instead of the skillets, we ordered off the menu. I enjoyed it a little more, but still thought the food was average by Disney standards. The atmosphere is still top notch...especially if you are sitting with people who want to join in the fun. Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
We ate there late one night in September, 04. It was not crowded, only three tables in use. Hence, we didn't have any activities, though one little girl did ask for ketchup.
I thought the food was pretty good, not a bad option. I did have the Porkchops, they were gooooood. I really enjoyed it, and would like to go again when it was crowded. If I was staying at the WL, it is worth it, no so sure if you have to make a special trip, unless you wanted an excuse to see the WL.

Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
From what I have heard of it my younger brothers will love it! They LOVE to have fun, laugh, and be LOUD. So this will be their kind of place. And my parents will for once not have to tell them to be quite, lol. Im sure it will be crowded when I go in July, which will be a good thing, I think. ;-)

Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
It is a very fun place, as long as you enjoy the LOUD festivities. It's not always what I need after a long day in the parks, but when you're in the mood, it's great.

Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
Well, apparently I'm in the minority.
I'm not a fan. I don't like interaction and people bothering me while I eat. But I hear a lot of the food is good. I'm just not into it. If you like interaction, it's definately something to try though.

Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
We like the food, but do not like the noise. Like Kippage, we like it quiet when we are eating, and do not want to be disturbed. I will also admit that we do not have kids, and they love to play it up to kids.

Re: Whispering Canyon Cafe
We ate there for lunch in Dec 04. The food was quite good and the antics were entertaining but not over the top. I think lunch is a little more mellow than dinner. The day we went, MK was open 8 am (EMH) until 11 pm; taking the ferry over to WL provided us with a great break in the middle of the day and a nice chance to check out the lodge.
