ANYONE IN THE NYC METRO AREA, WATCH THE 6pm NEWS!!
According to my DM, she told me to check the 6pm news tonite, channel 2 CBS (she thinks), for a warning on dining at one of the Disney locations and the it's called "EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK"
Iam very curious on what they have to say! I will report back what they have to say for those that miss this news cast or live where the story will not be cast (for some reason).

I think it is the local FOX broadcast station...I hate it when they do news stories hooks to get people to tune it. I'll give it a look see and report back (depends on if Kim Possible is new or a repeat
 ).

I'll watch that tonight. I hope there not going to say anything bad about any of our favorite places! Most of the time they really exaggarate the headline just to boost their ratings!

Kirstin Cole use to be in Columbus I was surprised that she followed me here  From the article I have to say that could happen anywhere. It doesn't sound like WDW was doing anything out side of code. I have to imagine that WDW is pretty food safe aware. When you think of the volume of people that go thru the WDW restaurants everyday if they wouldn't be able to hide any issues they would have. Sounds like Ms. Cole wanted to expense her trip to WDW to me...

....oooohhhhh, look at all the shiny hooks.
"dangerously close" also mean "no problems were found". This makes me wonder one thing... do Amusement parks get letter grades like other restaurants? I've never noticed one, but I would be curious to see their scores (at any amusement park, not just disney).

Also, not mentioned is food-borne illness can gestitate for up to 50 days. So the Epcot restaurant mentioned may have gotten the blame when it was something eaten days earlier.
Usually you can only trace food-borne illness to a specific venue IF a number of people get sick after eating at the same place (as with the clam bake). Also, there is not a restaurant or HOME KITCHEN in the world that doesn't have daily health violations. And how about the fact that most bathroom doors swing in, meaning after an employee washes their hands, they have to grab the same door knob others who haven't washed grab.

Speaking of sensationalizing news (and sorry if this is a hijack, but it's related), Sunday morning, ABC runs this teen news show. They had a running story about how the draft may be reinstated. Each segment of the story upped the threat of being "forced to serve." At the very end of the segment, they said something like, "Officially, the U.S. gov't says it is not considering reinstating the draft, but we'll continue to watch this story."
Puh-lease! When there is no news the news will make up news to have news.

It seems sensationalising thing to me..a complains of food posioning out of how many millions of guests???? better odds than crossing a road in any city me thinks..
