MYW Dining plan clairifacation?

On the MYW dining plan.
I've researched this and haven't come up with an answer.
Can anyone help?

Breakfast @ Donald's @ AK = 1 table service meal ????

Fantasmic dinner package @ Mama Melrose = NOT Included in the plan??

Am I correct?

Thanks!!

Yes Buzz, the character meals =1 table service. I just booked fantasmic @ Mamma Melrose's and was told it is not included in the plan.

I think that you will find that none of the packages like the fantasmic diner packages are included.

Re: MYW Dining plan clairifacation?

Thanks guys. Perfect, just what I thought. I think I have come up with a very "dining plan" friendly schedule for our trip.
Thanks again!!

Re: MYW Dining plan clairifacation?

We have come up with a "plan friendly" dining schedule. We are staying 6 nights, so we have 6 sit-down meals. Our DD is 5, so we tried to pick sit down places that she would enjoy, even if they might not be the best restaurants. Here goes:

Dinner-'Ohana
Breakfast-Donald's Breakfastasaurus
Dinner-Sci-Fi Dine In
Dinner-Cape May Cafe
Breakfast-CRT
Dinner-Crystal Palace

Keep in mind that we have never had a sit down meal at Disney (except Princess Breakfast at Epcot). So although a lot of restaurants have been excluded, we don't really feel like we're "missing" anything. In fact, I am so excited that we are going to get to try all these new places!

I think one of the reasons Disney has come up with the new dining & MYW plan is to attract NEW guests. First timers won't mind that some of the best restaurants aren't included, because they just don't know!

It's a little early to think about this, but I'm guessing the christmas chorus pkg.( can't think of the name) won't be included. That always cost extra for the better seats, so Disney would be losing money on the deal.

Those are great choices and very "dining plan" friendly. Very similar to what we'll be doing.

I love these plans. This makes me kinda sad that I will not be booking this package!

I think you have a wonderful thing going on here!

Re: MYW Dining plan clairifacation?

Does anyone know if there are restrictions as to what foods you can order at the MYW dining plan restaurants? I have heard rumors that there are, but don't know for sure. Can anyone clarify this?
