Tony's Town Square

I've read so many unfavorable things about TTS, yet my DD still wants to try it! Is there anything anybody liked about this restaruant? What was good about it and what should be avoided!

Re: Tony's Town Square

I was just disappointed in the food. It was okay, kind of blah.
The restaraunt was nice, our server was nice....just nothing to write home about. It is definitely worth a try though!

Re: Tony's Town Square

LOL- yeah, that is a lot for spagetti and meatballs! We may be doing the dining plan so price is not the biggest issue.

Re: Tony's Town Square

You could pop in for a soda or dessert. I'm sure DD would be much more thrilled with lunch in the castle CRT or at Crystal Palace (if she's a Winnie the Pooh fan).

Also, an often overlooked gem is Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. The food is mediocre counter service, but the entertainment is out of this world! (Sorry for the bad pun.)

Re: Tony's Town Square

We ate there on our trip, in February. I had the Baked Ziti and dh and ds had the speghetti (sp?) and meatballs. For dessert, I had the cannoli (sp?) and dh had the Tiera Mi Sou (sp?)- I know, I know, I suck at spelling....LOL :) But, we love it there, actually, while we were there the paraede was starting on Main St. and we had excellent seats to view the parade while we ate.

I miss Disney soooooo much Oh well, I guess it's time to start planning our next Disney-weekend fix :)

Re: Tony's Town Square

We ate at Tony's about 6 years ago and we all thought it was fine--not great but okay. We haven't been back since because there are just too many new places to try. If price isn't an issue give it a shot if it is important to your DD.

Re: Tony's Town Square

We haven't been back since they stopped serving breakfast. That was the best breakfast in the Magic Kingdom. The warm cimmion buns and the sauage were the best in the world and the Mickey breakfast was great for the kids. It was a great meal.

It was better years ago when you could order a la carte for breakfast and get a great Mickey Waffle!
Then they went to one (huge) price for all you can eat and that is when we stopped going.
Being from an Italian American family that knows what good Italian food is supposed to taste like, I would rate Tony's as so so in that department.
But the location is good and if they go back to a la carte breakfast I would go again because back then it was our favorite place
