Re: Where to eat at Animal Kingdom???

We ate at the Flame Tree and enjoyed it. We also like that AK has the vouchers which get you a meal and then a snack later in the day. I wish all the parks had them!

Re: Where to eat at Animal Kingdom???

Actually AK has some pretty good eateries. Tusker house and flametree are two good in parks places. Also Rainforest is very good, much much better than the dtd location. If you've got the munchies AK has better snacks too, the snack place in asia has a small variety of asian food, noodle and eggrolls. Oh and do not forget donalds breakfastosaurus!! Some people do not like it, but it's great and has breakfast pizza!!!
Never have tried pizzafarri, but it smells pretty good whenever I go in there to use the bathroom...

We always do Tusker house and always enjoy it! (We always use the meal vouchers, too! I wish all the parks had those!) This time we are going to try Flame Tree BBQ...Mickaholic has raved about the ribs there and I cannot wait to try them!! They sound delicious!

Re: Where to eat at Animal Kingdom???

We really enjoyed the Flametree BBQ. It was much different than your usual "fast food" type meal.

Re: Where to eat at Animal Kingdom???

I, also, would like to know everything there is to know about meal vouchers at AK. I've never heard of them. How do they work? Do you purchase them ahead of time? Where do I get them?

Thanks for the info.

Re: Where to eat at Animal Kingdom???

You can buy them at the park at guest services. It is $11.99 for adult and I think $5.99 for kids. You get an entree, beverage and a coupon for an ice cream or popcorn and a drink later in the day. We have never used these but may on our next trip.
