Crt

We just got back and I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed with our breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table. The food was fantastic as was the service. But the Princesses didn't really spend anymore time or interact more with my daughter than they did when she saw them other places. In fact Belle interacted more with her at the Storytime with Belle than at the breakfast. They came over to our table said something nice posed and signed her book. I think that a lot of it had to do with the amount of people that come to each seating. It was weird because I have a 1 year old son also and thought it would be cute to get his pictures with the princesses also and they looked annoyed when I asked them to take a picture with my son also. I know Disney wants to make the money and all but next time I would much rather go to a breakfast where the characters interact more with my child. Don't take this the wrong way because my daughter had a fantastic time. I just think they should have less people there so the princesses don't have to be so rushed. I would have loved to see Prince Charming also

Re: Crt

I know what you are saying but I think that's about what you get at character meals. CRT was about the same last year when we went but we enjoyed it at the same time. Our little princess didn't know what to say so she wasn't upset when the princesses moved on after posing for pictures.

At chef Mickey's the characters are fun but don't stay around long either. My DS didn't know what to say to the characters so they came to our table for a picture and moved on.

Re: Crt

Sorry that it wasn't all it could be. I've heard other people say the same thing about CRT.

When DD visited the princess at Toon Town she was the center of attention for all three (Cindy, Snow White, & Aroura). It was wonderful.

Re: Crt

I understand your frustration. But if they allowed fewer people, then chances are you may not have been able to get a PS. There are many of us with "little princesses" that want to see the characters. Unfortunately there are sooooo many little ones and sooooo few princesses to go around.

Sorry it didn't go as you would have expected. But I do agree that they should have graciously took pictures with your DS.

Re: Crt

Well we also did Crystal Palace and that was wonderful. The characters on their own interacted with my son even though he is small. Crystal Palace felt a lot more welcoming than CRT to me. Like I said my daughter had a wonderful time. It was very nice to eat in the castle and I loved the food. At toontown, the princesses seemed to interact more with my daughter than at the breakfast.

Re: Crt

My DSister (23) and I (30) went to CRT as a "girls morning out" a couple of trips back. We also had very short amounts of time with each of the characters, but we just chalked it up to being over 5!
However, we did notice that even the under 5 set was not getting an overly doting amount of time. Kind of surprising....but there certainly were alot of people for the characters to get around to seeing! Maybe they should add a few more characters, maybe more princes!

Re: Crt

Hmmmm I'm 26 and Pete is 31 and we never felt rushed. Perhaps it's all related to the time of year you are visiting. We usually go in VERY low crowd times, so that must be it.

Re: Crt

I am sorry to hear of your not so magical experience with CRT. I have always had a great time there and the princesses have always been great with my DD. I think Jenny is right and it may have something to do with how busy it was. I have never been rushed there or encountered miserable princesses. I hope you give them another shot. This is one of very few bad reviews I have ever read about this place.

Re: Crt

I think the face characters have a tougher challenge than non-face characters. I mean, if Winnie the Pooh's "best friend" is having a bad day, he doesn't have to put on a cheery disposition. But if a Princess just got dumped by her boyfriend before coming to work, it would be terribly hard to be magical.

I KNOW it's not an excuse, but we all have days where it's better if we just work quietly in the corner rather than interact with others. What's a princess to do?
