Narcoosee's?

I was thinking of maybe going to Narcoosee's for a nice dinner with views of the MK fireworks. Has anyone done this? How was it? I orginally planned on going to California Grill but was thinking of trying something new.

Re: Narcoosee's?

DH and I had a PS here for our last trip, but ended up cancelling it as it was for our last night at Disney and we were just too worn out!! I'm anxious to see the responses since we may try it again one day (sorry I'm no help to you though!)

Re: Narcoosee's?

DH and I have eaten at Narcoossee's and we timed it so we could be there for the MK fireworks. We were seated pretty quickly (it was 1st week of Dec) and then when the fireworks started, we took our drinks outside on the patio so we could watch the fireworks and Narcoossee's pipes the music from the park into the restaurant. It was a very nice experience. I don't think it is something we would do every trip since the restaurant itself can be pricey but it was nice to experience.

Re: Narcoosee's?

I had a filet mignon and it was very good and the dessert was yummy - then again when isn't dessert yummy! My DH had a fish entree, can't remember what is was though. The food was really good - we truly enjoyed the meal but if I remember correctly with appetizer (we shared), entrees, and dessert and 2 drinks each, it was about $100. It was more of an experience for us than anything else.

Narcoosee's is very nice good food, on the $$$ side, but found it to be worth it. If you time it right, it is also a great place to warch the fire works.

That's not a bad price to pay any day.
It looks like a nice restaurant. And to be able to see the Fireworks makes it even better.

I wonder if there is a minimum age to eat at this place.

Very true - it was worth the money just to experience it! I don't think there is an age restriction, I can tell you that most people were dressed a little nicer than what is worn in the parks all day - not dressed up but more like resort casual. The men either had on khaki pants or dress shorts with collared shirts and the women mostly in sun dresses and some in capri pants. Nothing too fancy.

If they'll allow kids under 16 in there, I would definitely take my guys. They are used to eating in good places and their table manners surpass a lot of adults'. It would be fun. thanks.

Re: Narcoosee's?

My wife son and I ate there last year and it was great. Unfortunately
we did not go during fireworks. My son was ten at the time . Age is not a problem. They have a children's menu. Food was excellent and it is resort
casual
