Earl of Sandwich
I have a few questions about the Earl of Sanwich. I haven't been there yet and with DTD being a short ride to DTD, I most deifnately want to try this place. Is it in the Market Place? I don't remember seeing this place in the other section of DTD near DQ? Do they have sandwiches or options my picky eater DD will enjoy? Is there seating or is it a counter like service? I am more than likely going to head there after my Sea World day. Thanks all in advance.

Re: Earl of Sandwich
Yummy....this place is....yummy...
it's basically like your run of the mill Zaxby's, Fazoli's in the way they handle customers. They take your order and then you pay and then they call your number. I think there is a menu on www.allearsnet.com Im not sure, but I would guess that they have a kids menu and can accomidate picky eaters. As far as location, it's in the DTD Marketplace right near Once Apon a Toy. DBF and I sat outside because it was so nice outside. The inside is very nice and big. Oh oh...they serve beer too.

Re: Earl of Sandwich
It's in the Market Place right across from "Once Upon a Toy". I am sure your DD will find a sandwich she will like. Here is a link to the menu:
EoS Enjoy

Re: Earl of Sandwich
As I remember, it is in the Marketplace right near the Candy store. They had a large variety of sandwiches and salads and maybe even fruit bowls. There is a large seating area with condiments and things. If I remember right, they also had some deli type stuff too. Others that have been there more recently will probably have better info. I just know we loved it and it will be a must for our next trip.

Re: Earl of Sandwich
Add another Yummy for me.
It is now one of our favorite Disney eating experiences. There are plenty of kid choices and lots of adult choices. Don't miss.

Re: Earl of Sandwich
We will have to try this when we go. It will be interesting to see how it compares to sandwiches over here which we have all the time. (I think its because our bread is different to yours)

Re: Earl of Sandwich
I remember watching a TV programme about when he was trying to start his business in the UK supplying sandwiches to all the companies in the london. I wondered if he would ever make it work back then..Looks like he did.

Re: Earl of Sandwich
Dana, it is soooo good and one of the best buys at WDW. The "original" was my favourite - roast beef, cheddar cheese and horseradish sauce - VERY heavy on the horseradish sauce, for me. The bread is kind of like a foccascia bread. They also got very yummy desserts!
