Epcot's counter service?

Epcot is so well know for it's great "table" service.

I was wondering what everyone favorite "counter service" place is in Epcot only.

We really enjoy the fish & chips place....the name escapes me at the moment......Harry somethings....

Re: Epcot's counter service?

Yeah, I agree. Haven't tried the fish & chip place though. I assume it's as good as the sit down version. But I've not been impressed with any counter food at Epcot either. The other counter service place that was pretty blech was the burger place in AA.

I like the Electric Umbrella, actually. Typical counter service food, but I don't mind chicken fingers and burgers now and then. I also like the margarita stand in Mexico! ;)

Oh, you're right, Bali! I forgot about that! We did like the food from the Mexican place! Had some really yummy nachos there.

I looooove the Mexican Cantina place. That's about the only place we go for counter service in Epcot.

We like the mexican cantina, I haven't been let down there yet. The Electric Umbrella is also fine if you want a burger and fries.

Oh man! That's the counter service we were going to try in Epcot this trip! Bummer! We really like Asian food and wanted a quick Asian lunch!

We always eat at the counter service in Mexico and really like it! I think because it's the first country we get to around lunch time. Just wanted to try something new.

Trust me...skip it...we LOVE japanese food!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT. We are esp. fond of the "cook on the table" japanese food--but--we love counter service type food also. we were VERY excitied about yakatori house...it honestly was the only place DBF wanted to eat.....and it was....disgusting. I dont remember much--but i remember all i ate was the white rice..which was good...

Re: Epcot's counter service?

Yes, you can't go wrong with the pastries in France. And, though I've never had them, I hear the beaver claws are fantastic in Canada! People also rave about the kaki gori in Japan (shaved, flavored ice).

Re: Epcot's counter service?

The counter service in Morocco is just fantastic, best food anywhere in EPCOT. It is called the Tangierene Cafe, and the food is to die for. Large portions, unique and rarely crowded. The Yorkshire County Fish Shop is quite good as well.

You know, I used to like Yakitori House, but we won't eat there any more. The Udon is qood, but my kids don't like anything there. They do have the best seating anywhere, nice and shady, and there is never anyone there.
