Re: Just used the Dining Plan!!
My sisters family of 4 did the dining plan in April.
Her husband kept track of their meals and prices etc... He figured they saved between 40 - 50% on food for the week. She mentioned that everyone was very flexible in reguards to what a 'snack' is. Also, since the cards don't specify adult or child meals, the counter service (and probobly table service) didn't require you order the childs meals from the childerens menus They also mentioned that they did eat more than usual. They would normally not order dessert, but since it came with the plan, they always ordered it!! We are booked with the dining plan in Oct...can't wait, it is kinda like an 'all inclusive' vacation. No more worries about where to go for a meal... 'inexpensive or not'! And worrying about how much food is taking from your budget. The dilema will only be table or counter service! (And where to go, of course) |

Re: Just used the Dining Plan!!
The new plan sounds great. We had the plan with the old wishes program on the silver add-on (not offered any more), and the restaurants were very flexible. Little DS could order off the adult menu if he wanted, and not just the kiddie meals. The great thing was that EVERYTHING was included, appy, entree, dessert, soda, icee drinks, tax and tips. I haven't added up our receipts yet, but every meal we were ahead by at least $20-$30, and we had 11 PSs! We will definitely use a meal plan for our next trip (whenever that may be).

The sit down restaurants did not do this. It was only the counter meals that did and I think it is normal. You just order your dessert tell them you want it for later. It works great. Nice for ice cream snack for later. I found every restaurant to be very helpful. Just ask you might be suprize and how they want to meet your need. Kimberly ![]() |
