If your dinner is like ours (we had a 7:10 PS and Wishes was at 9:00) it will work out perfect! You should finish your dinner by a little after 9:00 and then head down to the Poly beach -- walk down the sidewalk to the right until you have an unobstructed view of the castle and sit down and relax. You may want to take some beach towels with you to sit on, as the beach chairs were already taken when we got down there. The fireworks were beautiful from this location.

You should be done dinner in plenty of time to go to the beach and watch wishes from there or linger at the restaurant and watch from there too. Just eat slowly and take your time. Personally, I think you shoudl head to the beach after eating. You can watch the light pagent on the water and then wishes directly after.

I agree 100%. The beach is the best place to view Wishes. Get there extra early if you want to snag the beach chairs!

Re: O'Hanna's and Wishes

On the first evening of our Honeymoon, my DW & I stumbled across the little beach to the left of the main building as you look at the castle.

We were married in the UK on the Saturday and 24 hours later we were standing on the beech of the Poly, (after a wonderful meal at Ohanas) totally alone, watching the fireworks cascade over the castle in MK. It was perfect for us and could never be repeated.

Don't forget that sometimes if you are on a boat during that time, the boat will stop to watch the fireworks...think of it as a free fireworks cruise. Just something to think about if the beach area is too crowded.

I think he means the boat from the TTC to MK. We've seen the fireworks on it when we left MK once before but I couldn't remember if it stopped or not, it was a few years back though

What a great idea. I didn't even think about being able to see the fireworks from the Poly. We will have to try this too!
