Help me pick! Hoop Dee Doo or Polynesian Luau

I have read reviews on both, and I think I know where I would like to go for our big B-day celebration, but I would love some opinions on both from my DC famliy. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't done the Luau but our family LOVED the HDD!!! The food wasn't the best we had at Disney, by far, but it was edible and the show was FABULOUS!!! We will definitely be going back!!

We have done the Luau but not the HDD. If you have young kids with you then they may get bored at the Luau. Our DD's did (7 and 11)! The Luau was ok I wouldn't rush back to see it again, but I am glad that I have seen it!

We've done both a couple of times. Definitely HDD. One of our kids got picked to go on stage and those memories (and pictures) are treasures.

My mom just did the Luau last weekend and really enjoyed it. She said the food was GREAT, even better then 'Ohana

, and the show was awesome. I guess it depends in what kind of experience you want: the flare of Polynesia or a rooting-tooting ho-down lol. decisions, decisons

I have only done HDD and hated it. My buddy did the Luau and says it is really bad since they changed it. So I have avoided it. My advice, is to consider a 3rd choice.

We were there last Wednesday .. we never miss going to the Hoop Dee Doo for every visit. The show is cool... slightly corny...but wonderful...the food is quite good too...

I've never done the Luau but my friend did. She said her kids were bored (5 and 2). We did do the Hoop Dee Doo w/ kids 5, 3, and two 2 yr olds. They loved it. The food was great and the entertainment even better!!!

I think Hoop would be much more fun for kids. We've been there every trip except our first and kids have an absolute blast.
