PS name change

Maybe I'm the only one, but did anybody realize Disney changed the name from "Priority Seatings" to "Advance Reservations"??? Sorry If I'm just late in finding this out, I haven't been keeping on top of the Disney news! lol. This quote is from AllEarsNet:

Anyone remember when they used to call it a "Seating Time", when you were assigned a 1/2 hour time slot to be be seated. I don't know how many venues had this but I do recall several times of having to go to the Castle in the AM to get a Seating Time for King Stefan's Banquet Hall (now CRT) for dinner. In those days, they just wrote your name down in a book, first-come-first-served.

I still don't see any big differences between "Priority Seating" and "Advanced Reservations." In the end, I think their words are still as confusing to many people as ever.

When I made my ADR a few weeks ago, the DCM was confused herself...she kept saying PS and then said "oops I meant ADR, I really have to get this strait".
