Crystal Palace for dinner?

I looked up the projected park hours for September and MK will close at 7 pm the night I want to do CP for dinner. What is the latest you think we could get a ressie and will MK have fireworks if they are closing this early?

I believe that the latest reservation you can get at CP when the park closes that early is at 5:30, which should allow you to finish dinner and either watch the fireworks from CP or go out to see them. Either way, it should be good!

FYI, it is worth checking to see if the park hours get extended as you get closer to your trip. We found out that the park hours during our last trip in May got extended to 11 pm a few weeks before the trip. The CP's hours were extended as well, but much, much later. We were able to call a couple of weeks before our trip and move our reservation to 6:45.

Good luck!

If the MK closes at 7pm in September,I don't think it will be dark enough for fireworks.

What day of the week does it close at 7pm?

Usually, MK only closes that early when there's a party (like MNSSHP or MVMCP) or if the park gets rented out for a private function (more common for MGM and MK than Epcot and AK.

Re: Crystal Palace for dinner?

From what I remember when we went in Sept a few years back is that fireworks are only on certain nights and those nights the park is open a bit later. It's not each night like in the peak seasons.

Re: Crystal Palace for dinner?

Mk closed at 7pm during my trip and wishes was scheduled every night for 7pm. It's plenty dark enough for them. The onyl thing that won't be scheduled every night is Spectro.

Re: Crystal Palace for dinner?

Main Street USA is usually open for an additional 1 hour after the rest of the park closes. You may want to investigate whether this happens during your time at the park, and also whether it includes CP.

Re: Crystal Palace for dinner?

When we visited in Sept. 2003, the fireworks were only held on a few nights of the week. I would find out if there will be fireworks or not on the night in question.

Re: Crystal Palace for dinner?

i don't remember MK closing at 7 when we were there last september for our wedding. is the park closing every night at 7? if not, go to MK when it's open later. that way, you can see wishes. if the park is closing every day at 7, try to get PS between 5:45 and 6. or see if they have anything a little later, like 6:15.
