Dinning plan breakfast at resorts
How would you use the Counter service option at breakfast? We are planning to stay at the value resorts and I am not sure how exactly to use it. Do the food courts serve combo breakfast meals? or would you save the option for an early lunch in the parks?

You can certainly use the breakfast option in the resort food courts. Someone in another thread mentioned you can grab a piece of fruit as the dessert (e.g., banana).

Re: Dinning plan breakfast at resorts
We ordered one breakfast platter and then got a bagel or muffin as "dessert" and only used 1 credit and had enough food for the 4 of us. (Including 1 very picky, very small eater!) We also shared lunches and were able to stretch the cs meals to last the entire trip. There was usually more than enough to share!

OMG...y'all got me delirious from the dining option thing...LOL!!! I am just sticking to my plans of good old fashion ADR (PS or whatever), and eating what I want whenever I want...forget the trying to save a few bucks for me on this whole confusion of dining options...LOL!!!

Re: Dinning plan breakfast at resorts
I found that it wasn't worth using dining plan for breakfast unless it was a character breakfast.. I highly recommend Akershus. We tended to use our counter service for lunch and sitdown for dinner.. we brought a few poptarts and such for our room to grab on the way to wait for the shuttle bus.. hope that helps
