Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
We've been to many of WDW's resturants.
This past trip (May) we espically enjoyed the Liberty Tree tavern at the MK. The food was great, and the character interaction was plentifull. Also, I have to give a high rating to Earl of Sanwich at DtD. Not just your average sandwich shop. We truly enjoyed our lunch there.

Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
We were at WDW for five days in late May with our 6 and 2 year old DS and would recommend the following:
MK: Crystal Palace (for dinner). We were very impressed as to how well this restaurant is run. A good, diverse buffet, great character interaction, and wonderful service. We were pleasantly surprised how good this was. Studios: Brown Derby if you want fancy; 50s Prime Time Cafe if you want fun. Resorts: (1) Cape May Cafe (for dinner). This was a fantastic buffet with unbelievably good clams and other seafood. Really great service. Our favorite family dinner of the trip; (2) Flying Fish Cafe at Boardwalk. A great place for an adult dinner; (3) Artist Point. This place had excellent food & service and great atmosphere. It was also surprisingly kid friendly (fun kid activities and clever kid desserts). Good luck! ![]()

Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
MK - CRT, great food and environment, worth the cost, IMHO
Epcot - Alfredo's. Just a personal favorite - we only have eaten here on our honeymoon & 1st wedding anniversary, we're going back for our 2nd. AK - Rainforest Cafe. Great atmosphere, not too pricy, really good chicken caesar salad. Pete likes the girly drinks, too. MGM - Brown Derby. Beautiful restaurant, good food, good service. A bit expensive, though. Resorts - Narcoossee's. Nice view, good food, even if it is kind of high-priced.

Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
Did no one say Ohana's yet (poly)?? Great food and good price. Oh and the atmosphere is great for families. This leads me to Whispering canyon (WL) another great family place. The skillet is a really good bargain especially at lunch!
AK for breakfast at breakfastosaurus is a great way to start an AK day. I've been to a lot of other restaurants in the world, but still have a ways to go. I know its a chain but Big river at boardwalk was a delightful surprise! The waiter we had was great, it was my DW bday and they made it extra special. Even though they dont sing a song for you, he got the whole dining room to sing her happy b-day. I think she had fun, or maybe it was the microbrew sampler I had that made it appear that way! lol Still at the end of a long day at the parks; when I'm full with Turkey legs and churros, whatever is at the resorts food courts is good enough for me!

MK: CRT - great food & service and nice ambience.
Epcot: Le Cellier - love the steak there, the service is also great. AK: Flametree (counter service). [AK doesn't nice TS, but the park's counter services have menu that are better than other parks.] MGM: Brown Derby Resorts: California Grill - great food & service. Plus, being able to enjoy Wishes with a nice glass of champagne is also a big factor. ![]() |

Le Cellier - fantastic for both food and service. One of the best restaurants in Epcot and even whole WDW property. Oh, if you like dessert wine, be sure to try Inniskillin... We LOVE it. Sci-Fi - has very different atmosphere. Our good experience based wholly on the fact that it offered a different/distinctive dining experience. The seat makes you feel like you're sitting in a car while watching classic horror (not-so-scary) clips of films. We weren't that impressed with the food itself though. The food was good - just not as impressive as others. I haven't tried 50's or the new menu in Garden Grill yet... so i can't tell you much about those two... ![]() |

Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
MK -I always have a hard time with food here. I don't really think any of it is too outstanding - but I'm trying the Plaza Restaurant next time, because of good reviews from DC members. I do like the hot dogs at Casey's Corner and the Bakery (totally yummy)
Epcot - I'm with the majority - LeCellier. Great steaks. Great soup. Great Bread, Great creme brulee - Great atmosphere. Studios - I really enjoy the 50's PrimeTime for comfort food. And I'm going to give the Brown Derby another try - adults only. DTD - Earl of Sandwich! I can't say enough good things about it. Great food and great prices! Resorts - Olivia's at OKW - it's just like being at home and it's one of the best kept secrets at WDW. It's where all the castmembers choose to eat.

Re: Best food and wow factor at WDW???
We just got back last week.
MK - had breakfast at Crystal Palace. Grate food. My son was picked to be Chef of the Day. Also ate at Tony's and food was good not great, but we had never tried it and my sons love pasta. EPCOT - had dinner at Rose 7 Crown. We always eat here, but menu has changed some and food was good but not as good as the last several times we ate there, but did have a lakeside seat for Illuminations. ALso had lunch at the food court in The Land. Has a new menu, and food was great. We will probably return for a quick lunch again in future. MGM - had dinner at Hollywood and Vine, and was good. Had lunch at Sci-FI and great environment and food was OK. Fun place. Had lunch at Pizza Planet and was OK. AK - had dinner at Rainforest at spur of the moment. We were leaving the park at closing and my wife checked to see how long wait was and we only waited 5 minutes. Food was better than last time we ate there, and was very good. Resorts - Chef Mickeys funa dn food was good. Whispering Canyon the best dinner we had the whole time. Food was good, but atmosphere was worth the trip. Whole family had a great time. We did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for any PS except for Rose and Crown and we waited 15 minutes, but arrived early for PS.

Epcot - Marrakesh and Le Cellier for dinner, La Catina de San Angel for lunch. Marrakesh is one of the most under-rated restaurants in Disney and Le Cellier is actually one of the top rated restaurants in all of Orlando! La Cantina is a great place to grab a lunch and most seats overlook the lagoon. AK- I'm not impressed with any of the food options at AK MGM- Backlot Express is great for lunch. It's a good location that seems to not get a lot of attention. Hollywood & Vine is a decent place for dinner. Resorts-Narcoossee's. Please see my recent TR. ![]() DTD - Portobello Yacht Club. The best Italian restaurant in WDW and I'd be willing to be one of the better restaurants in Orlando.
