I got my DDE cards

I am so excited, I got my DDE cards over the weekend. It only took about 4.5 weeks to get the cards. I have been reading so many stories about people waiting over 8 weeks and they still didn't have the cards. My letter expires before my trip so I was going to have to call DDE again and see if I could get another one since Epcot isn't our first stop once we get to WDW.

The cards are cute. They aren't very disney-ish but have a cute little Disney touch in them. When I ordered the cards I didn't know we would get two cards, one for my and one for my DH. That is nice, now I don't have to worry about always having to pay the bill, he can do that.

Now all I need are my DME tags and I am set. Only 4 weeks until my trip, I can't wait!!

If by chance you don't get your cards before the trip (not you but someone else) what is the procedure? Do you get a confrimation letter or something? One moe question. Do they give you a list of places that accept it with the card?

I got a letter about a week after I ordered the cards. Those are sent to everyone automatically, you don't have to ask for it. If you don't get your cards before your trip you can call and have them waiting at Epcot Guest Relations. I was going to call and try to get another letter since we have CRT on our first morning with no time to get to Epcot. I don't know if I would have gotten it but I was going to try.

I got a list of restaurants with both the letter and the cards.

Dana, he is a link to a site that has some great down loads. I printed the AP, DVC, and the DDE discount booklets. They are going to be easy to carry around in our backpack. I stapled mine to hold them together better.

The DDE cards are AWESOME! Don't forget to use them at your resort's food court to purchase any snacks/water for the day. 20% discounts for stuff like that can really add up.

Thanks! I love the booklets, I think they will be really handy in the parks. Trying to keep track of what discounts we can use where isn't easy.

Thanks for the link. I am still wrestling with whether or not I want to purchase AP's for our next trip. It is helpful to have all the discounts printed off to show DH so that we can make an informed decision. Have fun on your trip. It sill be here before you know it!
