Made my AR's today

for the Night of Joy weekend. I wanted Cinderella's Restaurant for the first night of the festival so I could be in the MK before it started,but the last time they could seat a party of two was 4 o'clock,which was too early for me. I then asked what size party you had to be to get a 5:45 AR,and the very helpful CM said a party of 3,so lo and behold,I became party of three!!! And what tidbit of info can you glean from that boys and girls???? Well,I'm glad you asked!!! If you are a party of 2 and they don't have convenient seating times for you,ask what size party you have to be to get the time you want,and then become that size to get the AR and just say when you get there that the third person(or however many you have to be)couldn't make it after all. I can't wait to dine there(thank you Disney for the free dining plan!!!!!)

I run into that problem also. On my last trip, I booked my PS at Chef mickey's as a party of four just to get the table. It's a shame that you can't just get the table fair and square, but WDW puts us into the position to flub the number of people we have. The funny part of this is, a CM is the one who told me this trick. I called for a table of two and he said "no two, but if you have four people and forget to bring two, you can have the table." lol

Hey, that's a great tip about making the AR's Alma! Thanks...I never thought of that before...changing the number in our party to fit the time we want.

Great idea!! I've just used the same method getting the table for CG. I called really late though.. only a week before the actual dinner time.. (My fault for putting it up to almost the last minute for such a busy restaurant.. haha..) At first I called in the morning for a party of 2, nothing was available.. So I called again later in the afternoon and asked for a party of 3... and.. wholla!! they have a table available!!!

I also changed my AR for Le Cellier from a party of 2 at 4:20 to a party of three at 6:10,a much better time for dinner.

You are going to love Le Cellier. And wait till you see the desserts at CRT. WOW!
