best Adult 2 TS restaurant
Grandma has decided to join us for 3 days of our vacation so we have the opportunity to eat at an "adult restaurant". I've been looking over all of the menus trying to pick a place and I'm overwhelmed! I was thinking California Grill but the Yachtsman Steakhouse looks good as does Artist Point and Coral Reef . I'm not even sure if I have gotten all the adult restaurants down. We don't have the opportunity to eat by ourselves often so we want to make it memorable. Where would you go?
Also does anyone know whether they are going to continue to pool the meal credits or if they are going to be listed separately by guest. Because our boys will have 2 extra table service credits more than we will. If they are pooled we could use them at the character buffet, if not we'll pay out of pocket for that. Not trying to start on debate, just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks for all your help. |

Re: best Adult 2 TS restaurant
There are actually many "adult" TS restaurants within the WDW & Resorts... If you want a nice and somewhat quieter atmosphere, I'd recommend go for one of the nice TS restaurants in the resorts...
Short Answer: looking at the list of restaurants you mentioned, I would go for CG. (Reason given below). Long Answer: California Grill - always great food... and everyone can also enjoy Wishes during the meal. Yachtsman Steakhouse - very nice, quiet restaurant/steakhouse with very elegant menu and great service. Coral Reef – has very nice view of the aquarium. The menu is predominantly seafood. (And because I’m not a big seafood fan, I don’t think I can fairly comment on their food.) Artist Point – I’ve never been there myself, but the price is faring about the same as CG. I'd choose CG for Wishes factor. And for more options (in case you want more), here are some others nice table service: Citricos, Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, Spoodles. Another one that’s also great for TS is Le Cellier. I prefer it more than YS. The ambience is more relaxed and personally, I think they have better steaks. (Many other people may disagree with me though..) ![]() Last edited by pearlelpis; 06-29-2005 at 01:35 AM. |

Re: best Adult 2 TS restaurant
The Brown Derby at the Studios is very adult. We ate there once - I think I made a poor choice in what I ordered - so I'd like to try it again. I loved the atmosphere though. And my dh said his steak was very good, also the grapefruit cake. I must agree with pearlelpis about LeCellier - the steaks there can't be beat, and while it's not completely "adult", it's got a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a wine cellar setting.
