Another question about CRT

We we booked the character dinner at CRT, are you required to dress any certain way or is it casual park clothes?

Re: Another question about CRT

Casual dress is the normal at all the restaurants at WDW except for a victoria and alberts. I didn't know CRT did a character dinner. I thought it was only breakfast and lunch with the characters.

Re: Another question about CRT

I know Cinderella is at 1900 Park Fare for dinner. A CM once told me that Disney was pretty particular about not having a princess be in two places at once, though I could be wrong.

Re: Another question about CRT

Casual park clothes are fine. Character dining for CRT is only during breakfast and lunch though. The dinner at CRT is a regular dining.

Some of the dinner character dinings I know of are:
Crystal Palace (MK),
Liberty Tree Tavern (MK),
1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian),
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary),
Gulliver's Grill (Swan & Dolphin),
Garden Grill (Epcot),
Akershus (Norway pavillion - princess dining)

Re: Another question about CRT

My wife and I had dinner at CRT on our honeymoon in '01. Cinderella came down and hung out in her throne a bit but there were no characters up in the dining room.

Re: Another question about CRT

LD is correct. Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother hang out in the throne room downstairs, but do not come upstairs. Dinner is not considered a character meal.

Re: Another question about CRT

I'd be self-conscious of my manners eating in front of Royalty. Ugh the pressure!
