Crystal Palace question

I have been to the Crystal Palace in MK for dinner before. I really enjoyed the characters and the decor of the restaurant, but I was not wowed by the food. I was thinking of trying it this visit but for breakfast. Who has eaten breakfast here and can you give me your opinions? Thanks

Re: Crystal Palace question

We had breakfast there last week, and we thought the food was better than the lunch or dinner. Especially the french toast which taste like a funnel cake. We had PS for 8:05 and park opened at 9 and my son was picked to be the Chef of the Day. Made a morning that was starting out with a grunpy son turn into a great day. Also, my family is not big on breakfast, but they loved it at CP.

Re: Crystal Palace question

We truly enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the Crystal Palace, but did not like our breakfast there. Others have had a good experience at breakfast, but we found it disappointing. We did have a late seating, 10:00 something, so that may have had something to do with it. We like Chef Mickey's better for breakfast.

Re: Crystal Palace question

Hey there nikki!!! Haven't seen you in a bit. Hope all is well. Me and DD do the CP for breakfast almost every single trip. We love their breakfast buffet. We get the first available PS and are done with characters and eating WAY before the park even opens. I think the food selection is great and tastes YUM! I have been there for dinner a few times and liked it well enough, but wasn't super impressed with it either.

it's off to the left when you come to the end of Main Street (turn at Casey's)..the characters are Pooh and friends. We had the first PS time for breakfast there in May and loved it!

Re: Crystal Palace question

We love the breakfast here even more than dinner. We try to make the latest breakfast ressie that we can-usually around 11, then we call it brunch and we eat like piggies. It holds us over until dinner.

Seriously? Where does Chef Mickey's fall? I didn't think anyone could top Chef Mickeys.

As for the Crystal Palace, are the Pooh characters there during breakfast, too? I know it seems like a dumb question, because of the flower topiaries in that central planter thing, but I thought maybe they'd have a few others in there for breakfast, too...

Kinda like the Princess breakfast vs. the Princess dinner. More princesses show up to breakfast than they do dinner (at least, that's what the CMs told us a couple weeks ago).

Re: Crystal Palace question

The Pooh Characters are there during breakfast. Sometimes so much that you can't eat your food. They play with the kids, Tigger sat on my lap one time. They are there, believe me!!!

Re: Crystal Palace question

Breakfast is a must do every year for us. The food is great. We have had dinner there too and love it. DH and I have never been let down by the CP. Last year we had breakfast there twice.
