Best Princess Meal?

Well here we go again! It's almost time to make our PS's and we want to book a princess meal, but I'm unsure of which one to try for! Any favorites? Anyone try the newer lunches?

Re: Best Princess Meal?

I have not been to the CRT Lunch, but my co-worker who just got back did. She loved it and I would recomend it over everything else based on her review.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

I have done CRT for breakfast and the princess breakfast at Norway. I much prefer the CRT breakfast. I have not done the lunch but I thought the entrees looked a little heavy for lunch and the price seemed a lot to me.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

We did both, Cinderellas Royal Table and the Storybook Princess Breakfast at Norway! We loved them both but if you are looking for Cinderella you need to go to CRT as she is not in Norway, or you can go to 1900 Park Fare. We havn't tried that one yet but Cinderella is there also.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

We've done CRT breakfast and 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella for dinner. If you are looking for all the Princesses then CRT was good, we are doing the lunch this year in Oct. However, if food is what matters the 1900 Park Fare was wonderful!!!!! Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzie and Perla are there. Fairy Godmother is in the hallway.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

We have never done the Story Book breakfast, but we have done CRT 3 years in a row. We love CRT, but this year we are going to try Story Book for a change. I'll let you know what I think about it when I get back.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

We did CRT in '02 and Princess Breakfast in Norway in '04. I am glad we did both and since the food was about the same there is no advantage to either one. The atmosphere in the castle makes the breakfast. I would do CRT again in a heartbeat. If I could not get CRT, I would do Norway again. We did the Princess Dinner at GF in '04. The food was awesome, and we would gladly do that again.

If I had to rank them. IMHO

CRT, GF dinner, Norway.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

I would really try hard to get CRT. We did the Princess breakfast this year and much preferred CRT. I preferred everything about CRT, the mix of princesses, the feeling of being in the castle, as well as the food.

Re: Best Princess Meal?

IMO, it depends on when you want to eat. If you want to go to a princess meal in Norway, go there for breakfast. I would suggest that you avoid the later meals there, because the food is VERY bland. CRT for lunch would be my choice if you're wanting to see Cindy in the castle, because she won't be there for supper. 1900 Park Fare for dinner, as it is AMAZING! In fact, at 1900 Park Fare, the characters came around VERY quickly. I mean, in the time we were there, all the characters came around to our table twice. While at any of the others, only once--and I'm talking ALL the other character meals. Oh, and, 1900 Park Fare doesn't have characters for lunch, I believe. Just a thought...

It also depends on which princesses you're wanting to meet. Snow White and Mulan only come to the breakfast princess meal in Norway, but not the lunch or dinner--assuming what the CM told us was true. However, Ariel (with legs) came to the dinner and doesn't show up at the breakfast in Norway--again, assuming what the CM told us was true.

Honestly, according to what we were told, I would suggest you do several princess meals. For example, if you want to meet LOADS of characters, go to CRT for breakfast. Aladdin & Jasmine, Belle, Fairy Godmother, Cinderella & Prince Charming, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White all show up there.

But at 1900 PF breakfast, you'll run into Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter (he's hard to find, because he doesn't come out very often), and Pooh & Eeyore.

At the Princess Breakfast in Norway, you'll see Mulan, Belle, Mary Poppins (she certainly gets around!), Jasmine, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty.

For lunch, CRT is GREAT because you can see Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Godmother, Belle, Mary Poppins, and Peter Pan (again showing up at a princess meal! What does that say about him?).

At night, the Princess dinner in Norway only has Ariel (with legs), Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, and Belle.

1900 PF has Suzy and the other girl mouse from Cinderella, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Fairy Godmother. But as I said, I prefer this dinner over the one in Norway. Not only is it a buffet so they have LOADS of food, but the food tastes better, too. There were only a few things that I really liked at the Norway dinner, but most of the rest was really very bland.

Something else that I thought was pretty amazing: Cinderella was the same every where we went. EVERYWHERE we went! After the first time meeting her, she remembered us when we'd run into her again. She certainly makes her rounds! She was very gracious, and made sure we were still enjoying ourselves--at one point, she said she'll see us tomorrow, because we had seen her for three days in a row.

I think the only other princess that was the same was Sleeping Beauty, but we only ran into her twice. All the others were different.

Hope this isn't too much information!
