CRT for DINNER?
:c) I know that there are no princesses. But, that's just the way my son likes it. My DH thinks it would be just too awesome to eat at the castle. Well, I think it would be too cool, too. I'm thinking of doing CRT for dinner the night of MNSSHP. What do you think? Reviews?

Yes, it is awsome. I think it is a "must do" at least once. We ate dinner there in 2001. The dinner was as good as anywhere in WDW. Ask for the Mickey shaped butters, they were a big hit with the kids. It was fun going upstairs through what seemed like a secret door and then waiting in the secret waiting room. The waiters/waitresses were very nice and helpful and helped to keep the air of the nobility of the castle. Have fun and enjoy yourself.

I think it would be great to eat in the Castle, princesses or not.
We have never eaten there yet, but intend to next trip.

You can not beat the setting. It is just breath taking inside! We always try for dinner because, alas, I am surrounded by boys. But everyone always likes it. The dinner choices are ok, it's not an outstanding meal, but the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is really what you are there for. The desserts are spectacular though!

We've done it a couple of times. It's a nice, upscale restaurant setting. They even treat the kids like royalty. It's a little pricey, but the food is always good.
Oh, and it's very dark. Bring a pocket flashlight to read the menu.

We have eaten there a few times for dinner. The food is good, service is excelent, but $$$. If you go, try to get the last seating for the night. It is cool to watch the fireworks from inside. (request a table by the windows).

Re: Has anyone ever been to...
My best friend and his wife did this on their honeymoon (it was the only PS they made..the shame the shame) but they LOVED it...they actually had a late PS so they were eating during wishes..they said you couldn't really see the fireworks that well but you could see the burst of light and hear the music and it was just awesome..
i've always pushed for dinner at CRT but I just can't get The Dave to agree to it!!

hey got a great tip. check park hours and get dinner reservation prior to the park opening up again for halloween party. you will be in already and will never have to leave the park. Most people will be exiting the park and people for the party generally dont know you can get in early. jump on kiddie rides and get everything done fast. it is great, we did it last year.
example: park closes at 5:00 dinner at 5:00 out of dinner about 6: 15 or so,you have your wristband for the party ( get it when entering park) they will allow you to ride before the actual opening. park reopens at 7:00 they let us in without having to use a park hopper, ( i believe that actually started at four )- definitely something to pry into. check it out and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
