Icon5 Desserts???? Yummmm

What is your opinion of the best dessert in WDW? I am counting down the days until we arrive and I can not wait. We have meals planned for the motorhome but with AP's, we can escape into a park for my favorite meal, DESSERT......

What are some good ones?

We love Beaches & Cream. It's actually located in the Beach Club resort so you don't even have to go into a park. It reminds us of an old-time soda shop & has great ice cream, shakes etc.

Beaches and Cream is great, but my favorite place for dessert is the pastry shop in France at Epcot! We can never decide on one dessert a piece so we end up with more of a dessert buffet when we come out of there!

The Ice Cream Social at the Garden Grill in the Land @ Epcot -- I know they suspended it for awhile during the renovation of the Land but, if it's back yet, that's our favorite!!

Re: Desserts???? Yummmm

My favourite dessert is creme brulee and I've had it at Chefs de France and Le Cellier and both were delicious. The Kringla Bakery in Norway has the most delicious puff pastry cream horns filled with whipped cream and lingonberry jam. Sooooo good. And any number of goodies from the bakery in France. Ditto the bakery at the MK. And the dessert sampler at the Marrakesh Restaurant in Morocco is wonderful, with baklava type sweets.

Re: Desserts???? Yummmm

No dessert really stands out to me at WDW. We don't have it to often. I usually stick with ol reliable cheese cake...lol I do like the ice cream bar at chef mickeys...sorry I am a grease food lover, not a dessert one..lol
