Welcome to DC tiffamy - your going to hear this alot: The Earl of Sandwich at the Marketplace in DTD - fantastic food at really reasonable prices. We also like Wolfgang Puck Express at the Marketplace too. In the parks, we love Casey's at MK for quick, good hotdog.

I second the vote for Earl of Sandwich at DTD. In the parks my favorites are: MK - Pecos Bills, Epcot - Electric Umbrella, MGM - Backlot Express.

WElcome to DC. I really like ABC commissionary in MGM for some reason. Me and my DD always have at least one meal there a trip. Cheap and tasty. I haven't tried EArl yet so I can't comment on it. I am looking very forward to trying it in october though.

Another vote for Earl of Sandwich!!! It's great. :)
In MK I like pretty much any counter service place, but Pecos Bill's is my favorite. I'm also looking forward to trying that Noodle Bar in Tomorrowland. The Mexican cantina in Epcot is also affordable and has some great taco salads!! By the way, welcome to DC! :)

I tried for the first time Columbia Harbor House in the MK, and was very pleased with it. Afforable and tasty.

Yep...Earl's for me too!!
In the parks we also like Pecos Bill (MK) and both ABC Commissary and the Backlot (MGM). I've heard Flametree BBQ is great at AK, but we haven't tried it yet. As for Epcot...we haven't eaten anywhere cheap yet!!

I had a bad experience at the Earl of Sandwich . I will not recemended to anyone. Last august we were in WDW, we stayed at the Grosvenor resort. One nite arround 11 PM we were in Downtown and we wanted something to eat. I ordered sandwiches for all of us (My husband, myself and my two children). While I was wainting for the food to atrrive I saw behind the counter one of the servers throwing up, the others were watching and laughing. The guy got up and continued to work. Nobody cleaned up the floor or did anything. They all acted like nothing happened. Needless to say we left immediatly. I know I should've reported it but all I wanted to do was get out of there. My children never knew why we left so sudden.
We always had such a wonderful time and enjoyed WDW, this incident was the worst. My favorites and affordable are The LAND in EPCOT. The Backlot in MGM. Pecos Bills in MK. But the best food we ever had was Alfredos in EPCOT and Ohana at the Polynesian. |
