Reservations Wait Time

Pardon my grumble...

WOW, has the wait time to make reservations been long this week. If I try to call around 7:00 all I get is "all circuits are busy now, please call again later". If I call around 7:45, I get through but then wait a really long time. I have been on hold 10+ minutes today!

I do not remember it being like this in January when I last made reservations. Is it that busy this October or is WDW just cutting back? Either way, I am not too pleased as I sit on hold. Hardly "magical".

I love being on hold with WDW, I can't wait to hear what the next song will be. I have heard that fall is going to be busier that usual. Unless I need a PS I wait to call until afternoon, I have gotten through with little to no wait twice this week.

This is the busiest time of year for Disney. So, not only are they taking ressies 90 days out, but they're also taking ressies for vacations coming up over the next few weeks. Not EVERYONE is obsessive like us and calls 90 days out.

I had my best luck in the afternoon too! But I love listening to the music while on hold too. Cordless phones make it so much easier to wait on hold too!

Another reason the wait maybe longer is due to the free dining promotion???

I called this afternoon - around noon (maybe 11:30?) to get a Chef Mickey's ressie, and got through immediately.

I used the 800#

CRT dinner had no openings for a party of 5 on Sep. 30th :c(

Hate to admit but I call from the office, turn on the speaker phone, and just do my work until they come on. I've been pretty lucky during late morning/early afternoon, though.

11 days and counting until we can make our seating arrangements. I hope we can get through. We went in October thinking that the crowd levels wouldn't be to bad but now I am getting worried as everyone is talking about how crowded it is going to be.
