Epcot-Ice cream social/rehitching???

Hey all!

Does anyone know if the ice cream social is still going on? And did they ever start the re-hitching ceremony again?? DH is going to do DiveQuest the day we are at Epcot and I thought while he was doing that, DD and I could go to the ICS. Re-hitching is a thought for me and DH, a little surprise.??

I don't think either are back yet. It's too bad because it was a cheap way to get good character time.

Unfortunately, I think it's gone forever. There seems to be no rumors that it even might come back.

I never heard of the Ice Cream Social. What was it? Or should I just forget about it since it's gone forever?

I called wdw dine regarding the ice cream social about two weeks ago. they said no they no longer have it, the lady i spoke with said to continue to check back that if enough people request or look into it, they will more then likely bring it back, but as of that point she has heard nothing......

SO THAT MEANS WE HAVE TO GET OUT THERE AND SEND EMAILS OR CALL UP AND REQUEST THAT THE ICE CREAM SOCIAL MAKES A COME BACK. remember the squeaky wheel gets oil!!
