Late night dining -- help!
Hi, guys. As some of you know, we've decided to break with tradition and head to the World the night before our vacation "starts." We probably won't arrive, get to the hotel (SSR) and be settled until after 8:30pm or so. But, not wanting to waste the night, we'd like to have dinner in a park or a hotel at around 9:15/9:30. We don't really want to eat at DTD as nothing really appeals to us there. Any ideas?

Re: Late night dining -- help!
Great question! I'll be watching here.
The one thing I hate about travel is when towns shut down at IMO is early. Aside from Pizza delivery what else is there!? I love eating late which is probably why I am a large bulbous mass of flesh . . . BUT DEAD SEXY!

Re: Late night dining -- help!
After scanning some of the menus, it seems like a lot of the restaurants are open until 10pm (resort restaurants, anyway). Try calling Disney Dining and ask them which ones will take a PS after 9pm, then you can be sure of where to go.

Re: Late night dining -- help!
They need a Denny's on-site for 24-hr feeding frenzies!
None of the DTD restaurants do it for you though huh? It is slim pickings over there now that I think about it but Planet Hollywood is the closest to "Normal" not specific cuisine type place.

Re: Late night dining -- help!
Thanks, all! Good idea to call dining and ask who will take after-nine ressies.
Yep, I just can't get into DTD dining. Portobello's and Cap'n Jack's are too expensive, Planet Hollywood and the Rainforest Cafe are too mainstream -- we can eat at those here in New York if we really want to, and the rest of the places just don't suit my fancy... . I know--I'm weird. ;) Thanks again!

Re: Late night dining -- help!
Bali - Glad to see you understand. If you can visit a restaurant at home why visit it at Disney. We never eat anywhere where we can get the same thing at home.
Now that you mention it it just seems odd not to have Late-Night Eats on Property? The resorts would be my only other guess.

Re: Late night dining -- help!
Disney dining said that Epcot restaurants do take later ADRs on EMH nights, but they've not released those for my dates yet... ho hum. We'll figure something out and report back to you kind folks. :)
Laney'sdad -- I know people love eating at PH and RFC, but I just can't justify spending the money to go to a chain I could go to anywhere... . Maybe I'm a snob, but I'm a happy snob.

Re: Late night dining -- help!
You need to call Disney and go to the disney dining section of the phone cues and talk to them about the dining reservations for that night. most sit down and counter service restaurants close **I believe** 2 hours b4 the parks do! that way they are cleaned up and leavingthe parks at the same time as all the guests. PLEASE call so that you are able to find a place to eat that night! GOOD LUCK!
