Sample prices for a 5-night/6-day vacation, including 5 nights accommodations at a Value resort, 6-day Magic Your Way Base Ticket and FREE Dining Plan:

$209 per junior (ages 10-17)
$168 per child (ages 3-9)

I'm sorry, Melinda, when I first heard about this that what I thought was going on, it was extended through October and November. I didn't think Disney would open it up for the same dates again. Sorry!

Free Dining Plan Info

I just got a glimmer of hope that they were extended it....shucks. Free dining is well worth the price of two one day tickets.....I can dream I guess.

So the first time the free dining plan came out, I hemmed and hawed about it and finally decided to pass on it for now. I immediately regretted it of course. Now it is back and I am back to hemming and hawing again! Especially because JetBlue has really cheap flights from Boston to Orlando for that time period so the flight would be $40 cheaper than when the free dining was originally offered.

I guess I have some more thinking to do to figure out if I should bite the bullet and do it!

Go for it! I have heard that the ADRs for most of the popular restaurants are getting booked up pretty fast with the free dining offer. Call and see if you can get the ADRs (PSs) you want before you make your final decision.

Thanks to this FANTASTIC site & all the GREAT people that are on it, I was able to have our travel agent change our reservation to INCLUDE the dining plan without having to change anything else. That gave me a "Disney Day" before we even get there!
Therefore- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

One more thing; I am assuming that this plan allows the meal, snack etc. per person as opposed to 1 per party. Then again, I'd just like to check because you know what they say about "assuming" anyhting.

I'm really glad they extended the chance to book it, on the off chance that I may still decide I can afford it! I don't think that will happen, but just in case, I'm glad the chance is available.

I went and faux-booked one of these packages on the Disney site, just to get an idea of the price, and I SWEAR the prices are higher than last time! Last time it was only like $1,800 or $1,900 for 2 adults at a Moderate for 10 nights. Now the price says $2,299. Maybe I clicked something different, but I could have sworn I did it exactly the same way. Hmmmm.

dznygrl, the price could possibly be higher. But one thing that I noticed is that when I book a package just to see the price is that they usually start with an expensive view room. I have to change it to the standard view to get the cheapest price. Just a thought.

This is definatly something to think about. Although this isn't the same plan for florida residents that they just cut off on 7/19.
Which was 80$ a day for hotel room, one-day pass, dining pass, and you stayed for 3 days. Based on double occupancy of course. But that's only 250$ a person for 3 days/3 nights.

We just got the free dining plan booked with our trip.I don't know much about it ,but nothing is better than free!! Can't wait to start making my PS's.

I would start making those PSes very, very soon. Places are booking out do to the free dining, so don't wait to long to get on that.
