Any Opinion on Mama Melrose's?

The last few years I have wanted to get good Chicken Parmesan while we are staying in WDW and I was looking over the menus at allearsnet.com and saw Mama Melrose's has it for $15.99, which isn't all too bad, so has anyone had it? Is it worth the money? Any comments are appreciated.

The hardest part will be getting my picky eating brother to eat there.

Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan over spaghetti rigati pasta $15.99

Here is the backup item on the menu:

Charred Butcher Tender Steak over roasted red pepper polenta, grilled asparagus, with gorgonzola butter and red wine reduction $19.99

Yep, DW had the Chicken Parm at MM's last Wednesday and really liked it. I would recommend you give it a shot.

We had the chicken parm there in May.
It was pretty good. I am partial to my Mom's chicken parm. It's worth the trip though.

If it sounds good to you, go for it. We all have varying tastes. As long as you don't get a unanimous "Blech!" from everyone, you should give it a try for yourself. I know we all enjoyed our meal at MM when we went.

You will enjoy eating at Mamma's. I was there last December for lunch and had a wonderful meal.

Re: Any Opinion on Mama Melrose's?

we ate there a couple of years ago in September. we went right in- with no PS/ADR- and there was only about 3 other tables with people eating there. We went there because it was about 95 degrees outside and we needed to get out of the sun. I was stunned that it was so empty (the parks were also). It was good and the waiter asked us as we were finishing our meal if we had been to Al's toy barn yet, and that now might be a really good time to go. We went and got to be one of the first ones to see Buzz, Woody and Jessie. it was a hit for my 3 year old, plus we felt like VIP's that had been in on a little secret. Sorry, I can't remember much about the food, but I do remember that it was good- and that was why I was stunned that it was empty!!!

Re: Any Opinion on Mama Melrose's?

We loved Mama Melrose's when we were there in Dec. Everyone enjoyed our meal. I would suggest maybe doing the Fantasmic dinner package. You will get salad, flat bread, entree and dessert, plus a pass for the Fantasmic show in the reserved seating section. It is well worth it and with the amount of food you get you won't be hungry for the rest of the day!

Re: Any Opinion on Mama Melrose's?

MM is a must for us on each trip. We enjoy the food and the portions. I had the chicken parmegian on our last trip and it was good. I like what I make at home better, but it was good.

Re: Any Opinion on Mama Melrose's?

MM used to be a must for us. I used to go every visit, that is up until about the late 90s or 2000. MM has adopted the WDW recipe for their pizza crust, in that it is seasoned with a million fennels or something. Since I discovered that, I won't go back. But the place smells so good. I'll smell it as I'm across the street shopping in the Muppets 3D store.
