ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

DW and I were finalizing our plans...originally on 8/12 we were going to go 1/2 day at EP and after dinner at Le Cellier we would head to MK for our final night of fun. Well, DS convinced DW that we should go to TL for 1/2 day and MK in the evening instead (All ready doing BB earlier in the week). DS really wanted to hit both waterpacks VERY badly!!! Anyways, I canceled Le Cellier and changed ADR to Artist Point since we are staying at WL...am I going to regret it???

I love Artist's Point! The don't think I would regret that at all.

Re: ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

Good to hear...I just always seem to see Le Cellier mentioned as a must and don't see too many comments on Artist's Point. I figured since we were all ready going to Whispering Canyon Cafe to eat on the day we go to BB, I would just check out the other WL sit-down on the day we go to TL...more for convenience than anything. Also because since I was giving up a perceived "great" place to eat, then I should get to go to another in its place!!!

Re: ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

I think one reason why it is always mentioned is that it is in the parks, it is really good, and with the dining plan, it is by far the best value.

Artist's Point is one of the signature restaurants, and really is a fantastic place to eat. Great food, wonderful restaurant and great views.

Re: ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

We ate at both Le Cellier, Artiste Point & Jikos last month in June. Artiste Point was by far our favorite of the three. We enjoy Le Cellier and have eaten there before but Artiste Point was much better. DH and I both had the "all inclusive special" on the back of the menu. It was really worth every penny! The buffalo was so tender!!! I think my DH has a filet mignon with his. I don't know if any in your party will have an annual pass. The benefits to having one reaches far beyond admission. It makes you elligible for the Disney Dining Experience card ($50) which will save you 20% not only on food but alcohol as well at both Le Cellier & Artiste Point. It saved us $80 at Vic & Al's alone.

Enjoy,
Cheryl

Re: ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

I haven't ever heard anything but positvie reviews for Artist's point. I would have made the saem decision. It's nice to let the kids plan some of the trip too. Glad you are letting DS go to both water parks.

Artist's Point is a tremendous restaurant! You definitely won't be regretting it. Plus it's less travel. Le Cellier is also great, but there is not a drop off of quality food.

Re: ADR Change....Would You Have Done It?

Cant comment on the restaurants because this will be our first time at Le Cellier but why dont you break the day up that you are going to BB? We did that one year, hallf the day for BB and the other half for TL? Then youll have a whole day left for a park. Just a thought..
