Does Mama Melrose's accomodate large parties?
Does anyone have any info on this? We have all decided that MGM will be the park we visit on the Sat. everyone is there. I am trying to find a restaurant that we could celebrate birthdays in and will be able to put all of us at 1 big table. I have been to MM once, on my honeymoon, and I seem to remeber them having long tables for big parties. Do they still? This way we wouldn't have to leave park and rush around.

I didn't notice any long tables, but I did see the waitress pull smaller table together for a large party. The party looked to be about 12 people.

Well, when we went it was for a behind the scenes tour and maybe they just put all those tables together for the group. Plus, it was 7 years ago.

Your best bet is to call there and ask for the official word. The longest table I saw there sat 6. I am certain that with notice and a priority seating, they would accomidate your group.

I was there for the backstage magic tour last year and they put tables together for us in the back of the restaurant (they closed off the back part of the restaurant for this). There were probably about 16 people seated at the "table collage." I'm sure they'll be willing to accomodate your party if you give them enough advance notice.

I called Grand Gatherings line today and was told by a CM that all the restaurants in the park can accomodate large parties, however, you need to make you ADR for within 20 minutes of opening or closing. In other words, if you want to do lunch at Sci-Fi w/ 15 people, they can do it, but you have to come at either 11:20 A.M. or closer to the end of lunch at around 3:40. Same for dinner.
