Icon11 ? Best character meal for boys?

I was wondering where would be the best place to go to see some characters that a 7 year old boy would enjoy. I see that peter pan "may appear" @ Cinderella's breakfast. Do any of the princes show up? My son really likes Prince Phillip & Peter Pan, but I can't seem to find any meal that we would luck out where any of these would definitely be there. Any way of knowing ahead of time before booking @ Cinderella'a Royal Table?

It is really hard to beat Chef Mickey's. My two boys [12 and 7] love it.

Chef mickey's, breakfastsaurus, liberty tree tavern or maybe crystal palace. I wouldn't take him to CRT...peter pan isn't a definate. I have been there twice and he was only there one of those two times. The time he wasn't it was all princesses and mary poppins.

I'd go with chef mickey any day over the princess breakfast, although I've always wondered what it would be like up there. I still want to do it, but not before Chef Mickey.
You could also opt for Crystal Palace, with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore. I did that last Christmas and I liked it a lot.

We vote Chef Mickey's too. I do wish Disney would do more boy character breakfast with some of the other characters but for now we will stick with the fab 5 at Chef Mickey's. My DS loved it. Oh and they have good food too.

Yep, I agree, We did actually do Chef Mickey's on our last trip & really enjoyed the breakfast. I was just wondering if ther was any meals with "hero characters" as opposed to the classic "Mickey, Chip& Dale, etc.

Re: ? Best character meal for boys?

Ok...i know you asked about a meal...but we did the Family Magic Tour at MK ($25 each -- there is an AP discount) and at the end DS got to ride IASW with Peter Pan!!! So, if you're looking to meet PP this is a great opportunity (and the tour was really cute for kids too)!

Re: ? Best character meal for boys?

Can someone give me more info on this Family magic tour. It sounds great if we really would get to meet Peter Pan. What exactly is it? Do we have to book it ahead? Also, I was reading somewhere about some kind of Treasure hunt for kids, but I'm unsure of what it's about or where it starts from, cost, etc. Can anybody fill in the blanks please?

Re: ? Best character meal for boys?

My DS is now 16, we have gone to Chef Mickey's since he was 10. We have to eat there every time we're in WDW. Last year he added another character meal, Liberty Tree Tavern.

DisneyTeacher did a thread on this about a week or so ago. Read her thread and her TR too she writes about it

Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun, a definate must. Also, Donald's Breakfastosaurus was a lot of fun too. We make that a must also.

We went on the Family Magic Tour this year and had sooooo much fun. Our Tour Guide, Greg, was awesome! You follow a map that Peter Pan left for you in search of Hook's golden hook. Takes you through the park following clues. The kids have a lot of fun with it, as do the adults. At the end Peter and Wendy surprise you. You have your own photo and autograph session and then you get to "kinda" choose a ride to go on with them. We all couldn't decide so we went on IASM. On the way, loads of people were trying to get their photos with Peter and Wendy but we were all on a special mission. Then you basically walk right on the ride. The info they told us about the ride was just unbelievable. I don't want to give too much info so you will enjoy yourself and be a kid again.
It is well worth the $25. for a 2 hour (with a break) scavanger tour. You really see/find little unknown facts about the park.

Sorry for rambling!

Re: ? Best character meal for boys?

You know an Action meal would be cool. Incredibles, Hercules, Peter Pan, Buzz, Woody, and even the power rangers could be there.

The girls have princess meals, why not something more for the boys.
