Re: Character Meals
We did Crystal Palace for breakfast in October with our one year old grandson. The food was good and there was a lot of selection. After initially being overwhelmed by the characters, Connor (grandson) settled right in and loved it. It was a good precursor for things to come. After the breakfast, the characters we saw in the part were his new best friends. Everytime we saw Pooh, he wanted to give hugs!

Re: Character Meals
Our favorite character meal is, hands down, Mickey's BBQ. It is easily the funnest time we've had at a WDW meal. (not exactly worldclass food, mind you - just the most fun!)
For a one year old - you might try something a big quieter - maybe Garden Grill...

Re: Character Meals
We've done Ohana's, Chef Mickey's & 1900 Park Fare. All of them have good food. Ohana's is family style and has Lilo and Stitch, Pluto, Goofy, and Mickey. 1900 Park Fare is buffet style and has Alice and the Mad Hatter and Marry Poppins. We have had a great time at all. It is nice to not have to rush to the park early to eat so booking breakfast at one of the resorts is a nice alternative. Plus you don't have to pay park admission. Chef Mickey's has Minne and Mickey, Donald, and a whole bunch of other characters plus its fun taking the monorail through the Contemporary Resort. Crystal Palace is in MK and has Pooh and Friends. So I guess it's dependant upon what characters you like.
Here's some of the pics I have. The Crystal Palace one is a bit blurry for some reason. The first time we went to Chef Mickeys all our pics got erased by someone taking a pic for us ![]()
