Disney Dining Plan over Christmas Holidays

I was wondering is there any restrictions on using the Disney Dining Plan over the Christmas Holiday period?

Could we use two sit down meals at, for example CG on New Years Eve? :

As far as the time of year, there are no restrictions. Make sure you get your reservations done early!

I suppose it wouldn't cover the $400 meal at CG for new years eve?

How many sit down meals will that be?
