WDW's new Prority Seating policy for resort guests (all PS made on same day)
On Monday morning of this week, I made the call to 407-WDW-DINE to make my Priority Seating for my first full-day at WDW on my trip (November 12-19, 2005, with Sunday Nov. 13 my 1st full day there), and I was informed that there was a new policy for Priority Seating for WDW Resort hotel guests, that WDW Resort guests can make ALL their PS's for their trip 90 days before their first day on their trip!
Almost all of the restaurants at WDW are participating in this, but there are a few such as Rainforest Cafe that aren't, so I had to call back Wednesday to make PS for Rainforest (the Animal Kingdom location). Oh and BTW, I did get Cindy's for breakfast (Cinderella's Royal Table, inside the castle), for Sunday the 13th, and after being put on hold for over 20 minutes no less!     |

That is great news! Thanks for the update. Hopefully we will be able to get everything we want without a problem for our upcoming trip.

Isn't that a great new system! It was so nice to make all of the PSs in one day and not have to get up at 6:30 every morning for 10 days!

I had a small problem with this and wasn't able to make all of my ADRs on the first available day. The CM I talked to "wasn't able to find" my reservation. At the time I wasn't sure I had the right number so I didn't push further... except when I talked to someone the next day it turned out that I did have the correct number.
The first woman already had my name, but I learned the next day that the name that comes up on the screen is that of the travel agent. I think she thought I was trying to pull some sort of fast one... either that or she really couldn't find it. So anyway... good luck everyone with getting what you want! I did, if only a day late. Still, I was pretty dissapointed the first day. You build up a lot of excitement and then when it's 90 days: whoo-hoo!

I love this new policy! I can make all my AR's (PS's) in one call. Just love it!

Last night I made all the PSs I could think of for my upcoming trip at the end of September. Only problem was that Chef Mickey's is booked solid (for breakfast anyway) the entire time we're there, yet I was able to get a PS for Crystal Palace. I made about 5 days worth of PSs last night in a 20 minute call. Not bad!

Oooh, I can't wait for our next trip to be able to use the new system. I went nuts getting ready for work, or up early on the weekend, trying to make all my PS' for an 11 day trip. This will be fun!!!

Here are all the meals I have made PS for on my upcoming WDW trip so far:
Saturday, November 12: nothing, since I'll arrive in the middle of the afternoon. I'll probably just grab something quick for meals Sunday, November 13: Breakfast: Cinderella's Royal Table (PS time 8:50am) Dinner: Sci-Fi Theater (PS time 5:35am) Monday, November 14: Breakfast: 1900 Park Faire (PS time 9:10am) Lunch: Coral Reef (PS time 2:30pm) Tuesday, November 15: Breakfast: Donald's Breakfastosarus (PS time 9:30am) Dinner: Rainforest Cafe-- Animal Kingdom Location (PS time 5:30pm) Wednesday, November 16: Lunch: Tony's Town Square Restaurant (PS time 1:15pm) Dinner: Chef Mickey's (PS time 8:00pm) Thursday, November 17: Breakfast: Princess Storybook at Akershus (PS time 10:00am) Dinner: Rose & Crown Pub (PS time 7:30pm) Friday, November 18: Breakfast: Crystal Palace (PS time 9:30am) |

Does anyone that's used this new AR policy know if when I call for AR's for our 5 day trip if I have to ask for AR's in order by the days we will be there (ie Day 1, Day 2, etc) or can I start off with Cinderella's Breakast even though that's not till Day 4 just to make sure I get it and then start with the rest of the AR's on Day 1, etc?

Start with CInderella's Breakfast and then you can work down your list of favorites. I am going the last week of September and tried to book Cinderella's for b, l, or dinner and no luck. I found it helpful to have a handmade calendar in front of me to put the reservations and confirmation #s in the day they belonged so I could see what days were left in my vacation while I attempted to make more reservations. Hope that helps! |

When I made my ADR's I was told that only a certain # of ressies are held for the 10 days ahead thing and more will open up when the ADR is exactly 90 days prior. When I called for CRT on one day (our 90 arrival date mark) there wasn't any availabilty, but the next day when it was 90 days (to the day we wanted to dine) there were openings. Good Luck!

Does anyone know if you can make ARs on the weekend? If not I wonder if you can make them on the Friday before if your 90 days mark falls on Saturday or Sunday?

Definitely on the weekend. My 90 day mark was on a Sunday morning.
