Where to eat Christmas dinner

I am working on finalizing my list of places to eat at on our upcoming trip and have not come up with anything that jumps out at me for Christmas dinner. We will have Christmas breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, go to Mass, and then relax and enjoy some quiet time being together during the day doing whatever we want, but for the life of me I can't figure out where to eat Christmas dinner. I don't really want to go in the parks on Christmas Day, so that limits my choices to a resort restaurant. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help!

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

Why not go to O'hanna's for christmas dinner. It's such a family place and I can't think of anything more important on Christmas day then family. I would go there or to Hoop-de-doo. Both totally family places and a great time.

I looked at this earlier and had the same thought, Dana. I pick Hoop Dee Doo first and 'Ohana second. Both are great family places and the food is good.

The Cape May Cafe clam bake might be fun, too--or Whispering Canyon.

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

Well, DH has changed his mind this time and decided that he would rather spend our quiet family time on Christmas Eve and open presents and then go to Midnight Mass. Which means we will be spending Shristmas Day in the Parks. We are thinking about eating Christmas Dinner in the Castle at MK. I would love to hefar from anyone who has ever eaten a holiday meal there. Allearsnet showed in 2004 that they served a special holiday meal. I would also love to hear any other suggestions on where to eat. I just want everything to be perfect.

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

We have planned to have christmas breakfast at CRT and then dinner at CP. This is to go along with our plans of spending christmas day in MK. I couldn't think of anything better than have breakfast with the princesses and Dinner with Pooh and friends!
We have decided that MK is the only place to be on christmas day and know that it will be busy, but we aren't planning on hitting any rides just enjoy the day.

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

If you can't get into CRT for dinner I would think the Liberty Tree Tavern might be a good place to try for Christmas dinner.

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

I would definitely pick Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas dinner as they have the traditional holiday foods plus characters. Or I would go to Hollywood and Vine at MGM if that is the park that you are headed to.l

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

We have eaten Christmas dinner twice at LTT and it was very good. It's an even better atmosphere at Christmas with the decorations and the characters have holiday costumes as well.

Great idea now that park restaurants are an option. We were there a few weeks ago and loved it.

Re: Where to eat Christmas dinner

I have to vote for LTT too. We were there the first part of January this year and ate there. The decorations were still up and the characters still had their holiday outfits on- it was a very pretty look! I could just imagine it on Christmas night, plus it's has kind of traditional holiday meal items!
