New Dining plan question...
we are going for 6 nights the last week of September. Our plane arrives in Orlando at 10:30. Will we get access to our meal plan (Disney Dining) when we arrive @ the hotel to get lunch or do we only get access to it once it is 3PM the official check in time?
Thanks for your help! |

Re: New Dining plan question...
Hi,
You will be able to access your meal plan as soon as you arrive and check in at the desk. Even if your room is not available at that time, you will be accommodated and activated for your meals. We did this very same thing in May/June. Disney always takes care of you. Don't worry. The meal plan is a great deal economically (even better 'for free' this season). Make sure you make your ps before you leave for your trip. Have a great time! ![]() |

Too funny...I am the pale one from Massachusetts!! Have a great time! Did you happen to make plans for Mickey's Not so scary Halloween party? We went 6 years ago and had a blast; I highly recommend it. We are going on 9/30. |

Re: New Dining plan question...
I have a question similar to the original one asked by livvyb. We are going for 4 nights in Oct. but the way our flights work, we are there very early the 1st and we leave pretty late on the last day. since the plan only includes meals for 4 days and we are technically there for 5, can we save up a meal to use on our 5th day, even after we may have checked out of the resort and went to hang out in a park??

We figure we will chose the least expensive meal we have booked (as I booked 7 sit down meals...only have a 6 night stay) and pay for that one and use the plan for the more expensive ones. All in all it means we are going to have to cover 2 meals ourselves, so we figure the other meal we'll plan to pay for is the lunch before our flight. |

Re: New Dining plan question...
Found it!
It was on the Disney Dining Plan brochure I downloaded at the Disney site - imagine that! It was on like the second page where it has the explanation for number of meals, using meals, finding valid locations, redeeming your meals and tracking your meals. The third Mickey head under tracking your meals talks about contacting the hotel front desk if you need help and then says, "All unused meals expire at midnight on your package reservation check out date." Now maybe this has changed since I downloaded the brochure and I can't download it from this computer now to double check. Maybe someone can check the Disney site to make sure...??

Re: New Dining plan question...
Thanks so much for finding that Janice, I'll try searching the downloadable brochure to see if it's correct. Thanks a lot!

Re: New Dining plan question...
We had the plan in May and used it for lunch on our last day with no problem.
The plan is wonderful, you are going to love it!
