Kids meals for tweens?
Has anyone dined with a tween since the change in the kids meal age? I know kids 10 and up are charged as "adults" for buffet meals, but has anyone been able to order from the kids menu at a regular resturant for 11-13 year olds? How strictly are they enforcing the age limit for the kids meals?

Re: Kids meals for tweens?
When we went in May, we had 3 11yo in our party that ordered from the kids menu a couple of times...I had no clue that they had changed the ages on the kids menu, so I told the kids if they wanted to order a dessert at the end of the meal, they had to order a kids meal (to cut down on $$) and the waitress didn't say anything to me at that time. It wasn't until mid trip that we discovered they had changed the age requirements on kids meals...but I think they are pretty lenient.

Re: Kids meals for tweens?
I was wondering this myself. Thank you for asking this question. My DD is more than likely going to order then adult meal anyway, but I like the kid sized portions for myself. I can't see it being an issue at the counter service places, but will be interested to see what happens at the table service places. I just can't eat all that food. I end up wasting it.

Re: Kids meals for tweens?
In the restaurants we made a PS we told them 2 adults and one child. My DS is 10 and is very tall for his age. No one questioned it when we were seated.
At other restaurants, they asked how old he was when we asked for kids menu.
