Does Ariel really appear?

We were not going to do Princess Story book but I heard Ariel is there and my DD

loves

her and if she is there we may reconsider.

Has anyone eaten there recently? Is Ariel there?

Are you talking the breakfast or the dinner? Assuming you're talking about the dinner, AND you're talking about the dinner in Norway, yes, she does appear.

But as her "land" version, not her mermaid version. Carol and I couldn't immediately figure out who she was, until she turned around to come towards us. That's when we saw the starfish-shaped flower in her hair--which, yes, is actually red. Kind of a dark, maroonish red, but red nonetheless.

Kind of weird seeing her with legs....

I took dd for her birthday in May for lunch and Ariel did appear! That almost made up for the yucky food!

wow, I am so nervous about this meal. DD wants to celebrate her 5th birthday with the princesses and all they had available was a lunch seating. I had hoped for a breakfast as my kids are picky eaters...and looking at the menu is making me wary of our lunch PS. Any suggestions.....is it OK food or would you just not do it?

Breakfast is supposed to be MUCH better than the lunch/dinner. We found the food very bland.

Looking at the menu I am surprised this is marketed as a character meal, the menu just doesn't look like it's family friendly. I you decide to try lunch here I hope you come back and let us know what your family thought of it.

after much thought and a few phone calls to Disney our dining plans have changed. The menu just didn't look like something up our alley, especially with my picky kids. I decided to sign my daughter up for the ALice in WOnderland tea Party @ the Grand FLoridian instead of an actual Princess meal as they were all booked @ Cindy's, GF, and the Norway breakfast. We will be using our the meal spot we now have to give Whispering Canyon a try after my aunt raved about it.

We went 1 year ago for the breakfast and did NOT see Ariel

the grotto was under rehab so the only place we got to see her was in the Judges tent!
My dd loves Ariel and was Ariel for halloween last year!
