Day 1: 50's Prime Time is a lot of fun - the food is very good, simple, "comfort" food. Meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. There's a lot of interaction with the servers here. (The idea is you're eating in "mom's" kitchen and "mom" is the server (or uncle, or whatever) and they play the part of treating you just like mom would. It can be a lot of fun - they make you eat your veggies, etc., but some people find it a little over the top. If you play along, you can have a lot of fun.

Day 2: LeCellier is one of the best restaurants in WDW - and I'm not saying this cause I'm a canuck too. It generally gets rave reviews here. And for us(canadians) it's a little touch of home. Very comfortable. The cheese soup is outstanding and the bread (from the various provinces) is fabulous (especially the pretzel bread).. Great steaks.

Day 3: Never eaten at Boma - we're trying it in Nov. But many love it. Take time to stroll around AKL and look at the animals on the savanna. Wonderful.

Day 4: Liberty Tree - good food. Turkey, ham, all the trimmings. Nice atmosphere.

Day 5: Chef Mickeys is wild and wonderful. Be prepared for LOTS of chaos. Good buffet. If you need a romantic restaurant, my choice would be San Angel Inn in Mexico (Epcot), Spoodles (on the Boardwalk) or California Grill in the Contemporary - but it's loud! If you really want to splurge - Victoria & Albert's

Hi, OMG, you picked three of my BEST and FAVORITE restaurants in all of WDW. Le Cellier is AMAZING, Boma has like the BEST desserts EVER (don't get full on the dinner part of the buffet... TRUST ME), and I LOVE Liberty Tree, it always reminds me of Thanksgiving besides teh characters there are always great!

Have fun!!!

PS: I've never been a fan of the 50's Prime Time Cafe... too much hoopla for me and was never impressed with the food.

Re: are these good choice? have to reserve soon

1st day 50's prime time
The Menu wasn't great to me to begin with so we went for lunch, my chicken sandwhich was dry and the waiter wasn't that great. I was expecting some character, but he just brought our food and left. PBJ shake was great, so this one is hit or miss, you'll either love it or hate it....one of the few restaurants that can't go down the middle.
2nd day le cellier
This on is a great choice, good steaks and cozy atmosphere, planning on going back next time myself!
3rd day boma
This one was ok, the food wasn't really african to me. I'm not a picky eater and wouldve actually prefferred more ethnicity. Dessert is excellent, ZEBRA DOMES!! Coconut Tiramisu isn't that bad either. The Butternut squashe soup is a must too. Overall adds some adventure to the meal and a great way to enjoy AKL. Definately something to try at least once.
4th day we are doing the mvmxp so we eat at liberty tree
Don't know about this one, but have heard its just like eating lean cuisine, since it's sponsered by stouffers.
5th booked her a chef mickeys breakfast and a grand floridian cafe
Browsed the GFC for lunch and decided against it, there are just too many other restaurants that offer the same menu for cheaper prices. As for a chef mickey breakfast, I have been for dinner and wished I wouldve gone for breakfast. Good way to start the day at MK!
Other things I can suggest is Whispering Canyon Cafe and 1900 Park fare, for something romantic besides le cellier is Yachtsman steakhouse and artist point, I hear those are good

I think you have made all great choices.

I have never been to the Grand Floridan, but it seems like it would be a great place to go to make special.

Those choices look great. Don't forget to let us know how it all turns out.

Re: are these good choice? have to reserve soon

I agree, all wonderful choices. The only question mark is that last day, for the Grand Foridian Cafe. If you are on the dining plan, I might suggest Spoodles on the Boardwalk or Chefs de France in Epcot. If you are going to just be paying cash for the meal and want to splurge, go for California Grill in the Contemporary, Artist's Point in the Wilderness Lodge or Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge. I am not sure where you are staying, so that might make a difference as well.

Have fun deciding!

OOOOOOhhh! Chefs de France!!! Do you speak French? If you do, this restaurant is great!! The atmosphere is beautiful. Ask for a table near the window (a lot of the tables for 2 are by the window), and you can watch people strolling by. It's really like a little taste of Paris (or even Montreal!)

You made some really yummy choices! It is good you planned only one PS per day. We did one a day and worked out great, not a lot of running around.

I think it has something to do with Spoodles - but I could be wrong.
