I called this week and got all my ADR's except one!!
My DH and I are going to have a night to go to dinner without our kids and we really wanted to go to LeCellier. We love this restaurant, but no seatings were available on Dec 15th already! I have called back each day but no luck! So we decided on San Angel in Mexico!

I really should not complain, we got 6 other ADR's basically right when we wanted them no problem! I just really wanted LeCellier!

Here's our line up:

Day 1 ~ Hoop Dee Doo( LOVE THIS DINNER SHOW! )
Day 2 ~ Hollywood and Vine fantasmic package (Never eaten there)
Day 3 ~ Ohana breakfast(did not spend much time here because we had to leave because of hurricane)
Day 4 ~ Donald's breakfastasaurus (Never eaten there)
Day 5 ~ San Angel in Mexico (Never eaten there)
Day 6 ~ Crystal Palace for dinner( One of our must do's)
Day 7 ~ ??
Day 8 ~ Rose and Crown (Never eaten there)

These, of course, are our sit downs. Counter service will include Earl of Sandwich, Pecos Bills, and ????? Any other good CS for breakfast, or dinner for that matter, that we should try??

Any thoughts or suggetions?

I'm sorry you weren't able to get LeCellier....that stinks! Here's the bright side, the other place could be a new favorite once you try it. New things aren't always bad...half full instead of half empty? I am so happy you were able to get everything else you tried for. your plans look great. I wouldn't change a thing. Keep that one day open and maybe just pick a place you have never tried when you are down there.

We ran into the same thing this spring and could not get into Le Cellier. So we went to the China restraunt and it turned out to be wonderful. It wasn't even in my radar to go there but it is now.

Thanks guys I actually am psyched about the other 6 we got!! I am sure San Angel will be great! I hear it is romantic and has great Marg's!


Most of what we are doing are NEW restaurants we have never tried so I am jazzed about trying new things!!!

And Dana -- at Disney, you are right, the glass is always half full!

I didn't realize they were all new choices...that's awesome! I wish I were that brave. I tend to stick to old favorite..lol I'm a sissy what can I say. Half full is the only way to look at things at disney...to much magic there to see it otherwise.

I am usually not good at trying new things either BUT most of them are highly reccommended by people here or friends! Trying new restaurants with a net!

I'm sorry to hear your news.
We did get Le Cellier but a much earlier date of 12/6.
We have never eaten there.
When I made ressies they said it is a very small restaurant. Maybe that's why you had a hard time.

Did you try saying you were a party of 3? That's what my mother and I did when we could only get a pS for 2 at either 4:10 or 8:50 the night we went.

I've never eaten at San Angel, but it is beautiful--always a cool, starry evening with a flowing volcano to light up the evening.

We tried and tried to get Le Cellier and we are only a party of two. We just got back two weeks ago and even though the park attendence was fairly low we STILL couldn't get Le Cellier! Hmm, maybe they are using it as some undercover stakeout location? haha, who knows!

That's a bummer about Le Cellier, but all your other PS's look GREAT!!! I want to try all new places, too...but we'll see if I wimp out...

When I called for my ADRs I couldn't get Le Cellier for dinner because they were holding all of the ressies for the Candlelight Processional packages. I took two lunches at Le Cellier instead, but I have a feeling that (like the Fantasmic package restaurants) they might open up some seatings closer to the date... . Good luck!!

We got Le Cellier for the 19th but we booked it with the candlelight dinner on the dining plan. This could be why you were having trouble getting a PS. We booked the candlelight dinner package about 3 to 4 weeks ago.

You've got some really great ADR's!!

What time did you get for the Roase & Crown? We did a 7:30 ADR time last ear and were able to get a patio table and hang out for Illuminations. It was great!

Maybe something will open up for LeCellier if you keep calling back?

If not maybe you could try something over at the Boardwalk or Beach Club. Maybe Spoodles, Flying Fish or Cape May.

We got Rose and Crown for 5:40! We are meeting up with our kids later for Illuminations! So we did not plan on staying there for the show !
