I'm leaving for Disney on Thursday and attending MNSSHP on Friday and was told that Wishes don't happen on these nights, is this true? Also, I have a PS for LTT at 7:55pm will that be enough time to see WISHES? One more thing I picked Sept/OCt because it's always been light crowds and the resturants we could always walk up and eat, but not this year almost all the hotels are booked and there is not a PS to be had! What good is free dining if I can't use it?

Keep trying back! I am so sorry you cannot get ADR's that stinks!! Hopefully there will still be walk up times available for that time frame!

As for Wishes, I think that there is not a fireworks show at the Halloween party. I could be wrong, it might be a differnt fireworks show!

For what it's worth, when we went a couple of weeks ago with the free dining, we only made PS's from home for half our sit-down meals. The rest we either just walked up and put our name in, or called for a PS that same day. Only once all week did I see a restaurant not accept walk-ins because they were totally booked. I'm sure you'll still find dining available when you get there. This was my big concern before leaving home too, but it worked out fine.

I could have sworn I saw somewhere that Wishes was going to be that night @ 5 or 6 but for the life of me can't remember where I saw that info. THe Halloween party does it's own fireworks (halloween colors and themed) and parade. We will be there on Friday as well....
We've had hard time getting PS's, or got them but for much later than we would have preferred or happening...but still loving the idea of free dining plan!

The Halloween fireworks are AWESOME. They shoot off all around you - or at least they did when I went 2 years ago. I think I got that confused with Wishes, so I came back raging about how Wishes did the 360-thing... when I don't think it does... but anyways, the Halloween fireworks are really great. Even if you miss Wishes, you won't be missing out. :)
