Re: trail end restaurant

Trail's End is one of my favorites, especially for breakfast! They have A LOT of food variety and the buffets are pretty big so I don't ever remember waiting in huge lines to get food. Fort Wilderness is also the perfect place for a little walk after eating all that food!!!
I would try it, I loved it when I was younger and I still love it as an adult.

Re: trail end restaurant

The food at Trails End is good. Just don't go on a Sunday morning, it is so packed and the line is very long. Just about any other morning is great :)

I love trails end buffet for dinner. we always get there with extra time for exploring the horse stables, pony rides and looking at the peacocks, and the kids like to play at the playground while we rock in the chairs on the porch!

By the way...Trails End is at Fort Wilderness, not at the Wilderness Lodge, so allow time to take a boat over from the lodge, the Contemporary resort or from the Magic Kingdom.

Re: trail end restaurant

I read in my Birnbaum's book that Trails End Breakfast buffet is the best bargain you can get on disney property.
I wanted to eat there on my last trip so we drove over and I could not find the restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got so aggravated after an hour of driving, we gave up and drove over to CM's at the Contemp...
Iam sad I didn't get to try it...

Re: trail end restaurant

The menu looks great. We stayed at WL and did not have time to go but it looks like it would be good for a large group of people.

Re: trail end restaurant

We ate at the Trail's End for breakfast on our most recent trip a few weeks ago. While the price is very reasonable, we definitely would NOT go back to it. Besides very little in the way of selection, the food looked and tasted old and just wasn't very good. It could have been just the leftovers from some ghetto Shoney's somewhere that they scraped onto plates or bins to serve in WDW. Very disappointing and not recommended.
