Whispering Canyon...Is it Worth it?

I made all of my PSs for my trip a couple of weeks ago, but I just realized that I forgot to book one for Whispering Canyon and now I don't know where to fit it in. The only time I have available is our MK day and we usually do the park from sun up to sundown, eating somewhere within the park. I don't know that I want to leave and go over to WCC to eat. What is your opinion???? Is it worth it????

Landry--We ALWAYS have fun at Whispering Canyon. IMHO it is worth at least one visit for food. Ask for MT Wallet if you go and tell her that her buddies from Delaware (Deb & Bear) said 'hi!. Be sure to ask for ketchup!

Thanks for the info. How long does a meal usually take there. We will be a party of 8. I want to make sure I am back for Wishes.

I really do want to try it out since we've never been and have heard so many great things about it. I know my kids would love it!!!

I guess I'll try. Can I cancel the PS that day if we decide not to go or is there a charge??

Re: Whispering Canyon...Is it Worth it?

You can cancel the ps the day of. There is only a charge for the ones that you have to pay for ahead of time or put a deposit on(like dinner packages that include Fantasmic or the Candlelight Processional).

With a group that big,(8) plan on 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Just to be on the safe side.

Re: Whispering Canyon...Is it Worth it?

It really is a fun place to go. The waitstaff is usually really animated, and we have fun watching them interact with others just as much as having them interact with us.

Re: Whispering Canyon...Is it Worth it?

I think it's worth it. It's nice to take a little tiny break from the parks right? You can just hop the boat to and from the MK over to the WL. Be sure to feed the jumping fish at the WL dock...it's a blast.

Re: Whispering Canyon...Is it Worth it?

Just found out Wishes will be at 8:00 on that day. If I make a PS for 6:00 do you think I'll be back in time? How's the traffic on the boat ride????? I really can't miss Wishes! Especially since our friends have not seen it yet!

I would make the ps for 5pm. That will give you plenty of travel time and plenty of time to stake a good spot for wishes. that way there is no rushing. The last time I was at WL was in 2002 and I thought the boats ran great, but it does take some time waiting for it to go to FW first then over to you and then on to mk.,...just give youself enough time that you don't have to rush at all.
