As for crab cakes, I haven't a clue, I don't eat them and I haven't had seafood at WDW, but I would suggest Fulton's over in DTD, I know ALOT of people love that place. I always wanted to go there and get some Fried Shrimp, but it is a little $$$$. Dungeness Crab Cakes - with seasonal vegetables and mustard sauce $28.95 Friend Shrimp and Fries is $19.95

Here is the full menu for Fultons http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_fch.htm

Liberty Tree Tavern has a crabcake http://allearsnet.com/menu/men_lttl.htm

Flying Fish and Spoodles at Boardwalk has some fish items too.

What seafood, other than crab cakes are you looking for? All the resorts hotels offer some type of fish.

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

I have had them at the Flying Fish and the Yacht Club Galley. I think the Flying Fish awesome and the Yacht Club Galley were very good. I would order them again at either place. Flying Fish is good for modern type seafood cooking as is blueZoo (although no fish cakes at the latter)

Looking over the menus at Deb's website many of the full service restaurants at the hotels have some form of crab-cakes offered, although none of the restaurants would be what I call a "seafood" restaurant. Their offerings are relatively balanced between hooved and sea creatures.

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

Thanks all. I love seafood. I noticed on Deb's site, many places had crab cakes. Flying Fish sounds really really good.

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

My wife is a connoisseur of Crab Cakes. Here are the top three:

1. Flying Fish
2. Fulton's
3. Cap'n Jack's

All three are pretty equal in my eyes, all very very good.

Does Cap n jacks or fultons have other menu options besides seafood? My DD loves fish, but I can't stomach it. She has requested to go for fish one night that we don't have anything planned, but I want to pick a place where I can find some red meat.

I am leaning heavily toward Flying Fish, comparing the menus....

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

The New York Strip sounds good at Fulton's, just pricey $34.95, I would get that or the half baked chicken, if I had to pick a nonseafood item

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

Come on guys and gals

All this talk about seafood is making me hungry. I am holding out for the surf and turf or better yet, the largest lobster I can get with my DMP

I keep telling myself, 16 days to go, 16 days to go, no wait, 15 days to go..

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

I guess I'm a seafood snob coming from New England, but I've yet to taste any decent seafood in FL.

Just isn't the same....

Re: best crab cakes/seafood...

I did not see it mentioned in my glance through, but Brown Derby has the best Crab Cakes I have ever ate.

I have not tried Flying Fish or Fulton's, but I have ate Crab Cakes a lot of other places and Brown Derby was the best no question.
