My ADR plans
Just got off the phone with DW to schedule dining plans. I got most of what we wanted:
Tue All day at MK Dinner at Chef Mickey's Wed Early dinner at Crystal Palace Thurs Breakfast at Breakfastasaurus MVMCP that night Fri Epcot all day Dinner at Alfredo's Sat: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's Open day Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern Sun All day at MGM Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose both sold out Not sure how much I should change around (days and what not) to get dinner at MGM then do Fantasmic. Problem is not every night has MVMCP (I don't want to go on a Fri or Sun) but we also want to see Wishes at MK and that doesn't happen every night either. What are the chance of something opening up (2nd weekend in December) or there being an opening the day of. Getting their in the morning and making a reservation that night? This is my first time with advance reservations. Thoughts?

Re: My ADR plans
Try gettting for you open day or keep trying back as the trip gets closer. People always cancel that if there aren't going to use it because a no-show gets charged to your credit card.
Great picks for your ADR's...looks like it's going to be a fun trip.

Re: My ADR plans
Thanks for the welcome. I think I'll call back and see if I can get H&V or MM for Friday and Alfredo for Sunday. That might work out.
Just goes to show, even on the slow weeks, everything can go quickly.

Re: My ADR plans
Yes, keep trying. A few months ago when I first called for a meal at le cellier, I was told it was booked solid. I kept trying and found two time spots I could use. That was for my son's trip.
For my own trip, I think out of 9 ADRs I think I have two from the original list. All the others I changed one or more times. So people do cancel all the time. |

Re: My ADR plans
All sounds yummy. Keep trying on the Fantasmic Package, even if you have to take an earlier or later time than you want, take it. We had an ADR at 4:30 for H&V. Worked out fantastic for us. We ate, headed to Sounds Dangerous, came out found a great seat for the parade, watched the parade and headed to Indy Jones Show. After the Indy Show, hit Star Tours and started to head over to catch our seats for Fantasmic and ran into a M&G with characters at the hat. And to think, we didn't even plan any of it.
Keep trying, keep trying!!!!!!

Re: My ADR plans
Your adrs look great. Ditto to what everybody said. Keep trying back. I remember reading somewhere that Disney opens up more slots over time. So you just never know!

Re: My ADR plans
Keeping on trying pays off!!!! Just got off the phone with dining reservations. Was able to book H&V for Sunday night at 7pm. Its not the Fantasmic package, but we can work around that. The fact is that we're in. My M-I-L really wanted to eat there so the chef could make her fresh gluten/wheat free bread. It got great reviews on a celiac disease site.
All our dining options are now confirmed!!! WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
