Re: Cooke's of Dublin

We didn't go into it, but we did see it on our last night there. If you're going to Ragland Road from the PI entrance, you'd turn right instead of going straight (as if you were walking to Disney Marketplace), and it's next to (just after) the Raglan Road store. The building is attached & it looks to be in the same Irish design as Raglan Road...it creates the impression that you're walking down a block. There looked to be tables both inside and outside in a little courtyard and was much less packed than Raglan Road (!) but I got the impression that it was counter service - didn't notice any servers in front of the counter. We would have tried it if we'd discovered it earlier and hadn't just eaten so were too full to eat anything!

I'm definitely thinking about trying it... IF it's counter service!

Is there an entrance to Raglan Road and this Cooke's of Dublin place without going inside Pleasure Island? We don't usually get the "extras" ticket that includes PI but I'd like to eat there. Is it included in the DDP? Do they take ADRs?

Re: Cooke's of Dublin

You don't need PI tickets to get into Raglan Road. When we were there they had a row of potted plants with "checkers" just after the Raglan Road entrance, so there was no entrance fee needed. Cooke's of Dublin is on the walkway to Marketplace Disney, so it's not at the PI entrance and you won't need to pay PI admission for that either. Raglan Road does take ADR's (I made one before we went down). It wasn't on the DDP when we went down - had to pay for it (we were about $220 for 5 adults with appetizers and a few drinks). Since we didn't try Cooke's I don't know about that one...

Re: Cooke's of Dublin

Cooke's of Dublin is strictly counter service. Fish and chips is the main attraction, but they offer other casual fare as well.

Re: Cooke's of Dublin

Cooke's is definetly a counter service. But looking at it a week ago, I think it may turn into a work in progress. Inside the ordering area, there is not many places to sit or stand to eat your meal. To the right of the space there seems to be outside area that is encircled by temporary planters that may provide additional siting but didn't see any obvious connection to the counter service spot.

Re: Cooke's of Dublin

I lvoe fish and chips, especially with tha tmalt vinegar! These Irish pubs have opened since we were there -- we have never been big PI fans, but now I really have a reason to go check it out again!
