Good Pasta

I need to get myself a good ole pasta dinner the night before the marathon. I know we can always go to Palio's, but it's a bit expensive.

Any other ideas?

Rain Forest Cafe has some pretty good pasta dishes that aren't too expensive...

Re: Good Pasta

how about tony's town square in MK? they give you a big plate of spaghetti, when you order it of course, and it is really yummy. i don't remember how much it was but if you go to www.allearsnet.com, you can see the prices for tony's town square.

Sorry, it's a little confusing. I'm going to WDW for the marathon in January and then I'm going to DL for their marathon in September.

Mama Melrose and/or Alfredo's could work. Both are a short boat ride away from the Swan.

I'll second that suggestion - Alfredo's in Italy in Epcot is excellent pasta! Pete and I ate there on our honeymoon, our 1st and 2nd wedding anniversaries.

Re: Good Pasta

ddoll... the spaghetti marinara in Alfredo's is so incredible that we have tried many, many, many times to make that sauce!!! It has never been just right, but we can always keep trying!

I know many won't agree with me, but Momma's is my favorite for pasta. The price is fair, the food is excellent and the service top-notch.

I agree Dana I've been going to Mamma's basically since it had opened and I ALWAYS love it. Besides the great food and service I suppose I also really love the atmosphere, it totally does remind me of some qauint restaurants in the LA area, especially around Santa Monica and Venice Beach (not necassarily Melrose Ave?!?). hehe, ANYWAY, I love it there!!!

ddoll,
When you get home you have to try Venders on the Hill. We always get two pounds of homemade pasta (ziti) and two containers of sauce. You can even order on line. Worth the trip....

Nice people~ http://www.vendaravioli.com/?ACT=COSTANTINOS
